Figures for attendances not given automatically over the tannoy anymore either, remember they scan all tickets so information is collated immediately, so numbers are known on the day. Smoke & mirrors here, producing a figure days later as they don't want the real figure known."
I doubt it is in the Gaas interest to massage figures as they will have to produce detailed income and expenditure accounts at the end of the year. Possibly sold 31k tickets but didn't have that in the stadium at any given time.

I saw it at the time, cant recall it exactly but it was 28 Thousand and odd numbers, it was less than 30,000.

Be interesting to see the crowd at Thurles Saturday and whos biggest and smallest support, would imagine Cork will bring biggest crowd and Galway the smallest of the 4 counties involved .
