Replying To GBOMB:  "Rumours are Paul O Conor is going in with Seamus Mc Enaney."
Don't think so. 2 management tickets nominated Banty & Paul O'C.

Exactly, you have to wonder about the county board's sense of awareness if they let Seamus Mc Enaney or anyone connected to him take an u17 or u20 team ,
Do they really want protests at monaghan u17 / u20
Games and training sessions ?
Paul o conor would be a super appointment especially watching his castleblaney outfit last night,
Fit ,fast and decisive,
Had said previously Carrick was a sure thing,
Castleblaney starting to give me doubts

Agreed let the man use whatever he wants too progress the young Monaghan lads to their best ability

We are miles behind counties

Just my opinion but I think Seamus would be excellent back in.

Think getting Banty back in would be a brilliant move, brings professional setup for the lads and a passionate Monaghan man.

All the accounts that were slagging off blayney over the last number of weeks have been awful quiet recently. Any reason why?

Somethings are more important than football.

I think Joe O'Boyle would be a brilliant appointment for the u17 squad. Was part of dermot Malone's management team for the minors getting to all Ireland final. Done brilliant with Our ladys secondary school in coaching teams and playing Macrory cup football. But as for the 20s i wouldn't have banty near it. Id have paul o'connor in a heartbeat

I am only going on reports but the under 15 football squad did not win a game this year under himself and paddy Kearns so not sure how that warrants at go at minors. What about the u16 manager they won the buncrana shield

Any idea when the Harps V Blayney League semi Final will take place? surely could have been penciled in for this Sunday?

Big Weekend of hurling this weekend. Plenty to look forward to:

Hurling Championship KO Junior Hurling Championship Semi Final
Clontibret v Latton
Venue: Carrickmacross at 1800
Monaghan Harps waiting in the final for the winner. Could be a tight one though Clontibret hit form in recent games.

Hurling Championship KO Semi Final
Castleblayney Hurling v Carrickmacross Hurling @ 1400
Inniskeen v Truagh @ 1545
Venue: Monaghan

Blayney to win in first semi-final. Haven't seen the Slevin's togged out for Carrick this year yet but if they turn up it'll be a close thing.
Second semi is interesting, as an old Inniskeen have been flying it this year. Truagh flying in the spring have come off the rails a little bit. Inniskeen to win this one.

How long before Killevan make an appearance on this weekend in the future? Would be great to see it and good to see Latton there now.

Blayney would have been delighted with that. Rested 6 or 7 lads on Wednesday night too

You didn't hear the big announcement? Killevan are starting a hurling team and fair play to them.
