Everyone's championship predictions?? Thesarsfields1975 (Monaghan) - Posts: 47 - 20/07/2025 20:12:23 2626723 Link 0 |
What success is that? A junior club for the last 25 years+? If you read what I said was referring to adult level. They will do very well to get out of their junior championship group this year.

Son , will you please go and get some help for yourself. You know what they say about sandwiches and picnics. ORIELMAN85 (Monaghan) - Posts: 791 - 21/07/2025 15:44:46 2626932 Link 0 |
Not sure if the 'sheer size' of some of the lads I've seen in junior football would be considered a good thing.

Scostown I will agree on carrick 50/50 depends on how they preform they are very hit and miss but unless junior turns into u12 division 5 which I think Killeevan would still struggle to win it will be between Emyvale ,Sean Mcdermots , Aghabog emmets.

You obviously believe football only started in 1945? 3 senior championships in 1927, 1929 and 1944. Any club with 3 senior championships deserves a bit of respect not this nonsense. Gaels1989 (Monaghan) - Posts: 49 - 21/07/2025 18:39:49 2626989 Link 0 |
With half the team from other parishes on each occassion. Havent been out of Junior in 26 years and most of that time in the bottom 2. Well on their way to beating the record for time spent in Junior. Their Minor team amalgamated, and playing in Div.4. The future is certainly BLUE.

Any word on the Clones and Blayney game? There was a meeting tonight to decide an outcome Farney321 (Monaghan) - Posts: 6 - 21/07/2025 21:26:28 2627007 Link 0 |
Agreed Carrick are very hit and miss but I think this is the year for them as long as ohanlon is fit…. Emyvale I'll give u if they stick together renowned for bi*c*ing and falling out between players and management not sure of any names but I heard there's a few lads good at winging and crying when things don't go their way. Typical town team Seans have definitely performed in the junior league aswell as aghabog falling short just don't think if push came shove in a qf/sf either of these teams would beat killeevan in a big game Thesarsfields1975 (Monaghan) - Posts: 47 - 22/07/2025 10:34:13 2627049 Link 0 |
Id love to know what club your from… Theirs patterns in junior clubs if you had any knowledge Look at rock for example it was only a couple of years ago they where winning ulsters Seans have been up and down junior-senior aswell as currin Killeevan will get their time in the next few years you'll see Out of interest oriel man who is your club Thesarsfields1975 (Monaghan) - Posts: 47 - 22/07/2025 10:38:09 2627051 Link 0 |

A troll?? What has been so trolling may I ask People on here can't accept opinions and facts Killeevan will b competing in higher level in years to come the proof is there Thesarsfields1975 (Monaghan) - Posts: 47 - 22/07/2025 11:16:23 2627067 Link 0 |
Wake up lad. I watched their Minor team 5 or 6 weeks ago and apart from a young Fisher lad there were no other Senior prospects on display. That was against a Cremartin team that was short 3. Like I said the future is BLUE.

And will we ignore the u16 team top of divison 2 championship group??? 4/5 years these lads will be 17-21 competing with teams such as emyvale clones etc at the minute no reason why 5/6 of these lads can't break onto the team along with a good u14 team and 2/3 out of the minor lads. We are a small club not producing many men onto the senior panel Lost a serious talent in yoing graham to the rugby and a few other lads abroad Facts are there to be seen. Therefore killeevan in fact will be pushing on as I've said previously Thesarsfields1975 (Monaghan) - Posts: 47 - 22/07/2025 13:24:38 2627136 Link 0 |
How much delusion can you wrap up in one person??? In 4 years your u14 team will be 17 or 18 And are you not joined up with éire óg at juvenile? So how many of those players are actually going to play for killeevan? ginelli (Monaghan) - Posts: 58 - 22/07/2025 15:09:23 2627195 Link 1 |
Every club loses players to emigration etc. Div 2 Under 16? Your neighbouring clubs are after being in the Under 16 Div. 1 final and neither of them are going to be top of Intermediate in the near future, so wise up. Killeevan will still be hovering around the bottom of Junior in 20 years time, blaming their long list of managers. They were once described to me as a "social club with a footballing problem". Decipher that however you will.

Yes 17/18 is the correct age breaking into a senior panel.. U14s div3…. 17/18 U16s team div2….will b 17-20 Minors yes joined with eire og there's 3/4 players breaking into the senior panel between this and next year So what was your point here may I ask??? Thesarsfields1975 (Monaghan) - Posts: 47 - 22/07/2025 16:11:05 2627214 Link 0 |
From what I saw the Minors were backbone by Eire Og players with only the afirementioned Fisher lad the only Senior prospect from Killeevan.
