Team just announced for Antrim trip:

1. J. Daly
2. K. Maguire
3. C. Drumm
4. J. Gonoud
5. E. Mulvihill
6. R. Wallace
7. N. Harte
8. R. Connellan
9. A. McCormack
10. D. Lynch
11. R. O'Toole
12. Sam McCartan
13. S. Baker
14. S. Smith
15. D. McCartan

Smith for Forde is the only change to starting 15 from the last day I think.
Probably a few late changes before throw in as usual.

In relation to your team that you named, I presume u posted for a view, I asked what games you had picked it off. I would have 11/12 of your team. I would also have a few positional switches. But anyway, no team named yet for tomorrow, presume it will be the same named team as usual and then a few changes on actual starting team."
What's your team? Interested in seeing it

Spot on. Well need to give our best performance yet. Antrim badly need to win to stay in the hunt for promotion, lose and theyre out of the picture. Best of luck to players and management.

Late changes to starting 15:
Danny Scahill for Gonoud
Johnathan Lynam for Mulvihill
Conor Dillon for Smith

Someone at the game can confirm positions but I'd imagine:
Daly
Maguire / Drumm / Scahill
McCartan / Wallace / Harte
Ray / Andy
Lynam / OToole / Lynch
Danny / Baker / Dillon

Good to see Kevin O'Sullivan and Conor McCormack added to subs.

Strange selection and a mediocre first half display here, some of the changes haven't worked at all, we've still to put together one half of quality football in nearly five matches, hopefully will happen in second half.

Definitely an improved showing as hoped for, decent efforts on the scoring front, finished well after Antrim brought it back to 2 with ten mins left, one more win or possibly even just a draw will ensure promotion, decent Westmeath crowd in Corrigan Park, according to the locals this venue could be redeveloped if Casement costs continue to rise.

A good win today, a cautious first half performance, but another win. Gonoud got injured in warm up, but i thought the defence done very well. Antrim had two great goal chance, one taken of linenin first half and rattled of crossbar in second half, but we also had chances. Forwards kicked into life in 2nd half and the team seemed to have more purpose in today's overall performance. Full points with two rounds to go is a great position to be in.

5 from 5, well done to all involved. Can't really ask for more than that. Top of the table clash v Down on Paddy's Day in Mullingar at 3pm, then away to Sligo in last round. Clare 2 points further back who play Antrim next but have Down in the last round.

Not sure what the crack is with Heslin - work and or injury but you'd imagine he will benefit mentally and physically from a decent break and come back in good shape. Loughlin to come back also of course. Interesting to see that Drumm has been retained alongside Maguire in defence, great to see it. McCormack seems to have seamlessly replaced Duncan in midfield which I didn't anticipate. The additions to the bench today in Kevin OSullivan and Conor McCormack are a major plus for me.

Not long back from Belfast and good to see some Westmeath supporters there. Hopefully they come out in numbers in 2 weeks time for the big game against Down!

Good to get the win today. A very good team win without been outstanding. Lynam played very well & worked very hard and was unlucky not to get a goal. Ray and Andy were very good again. Senan is still struggling to make an impact again in open play. The two McCartan's played well and it's great to see Danny not been afraid to take on scores.

A big worry for me was seeing Wallace and Drumm go off injured. Hopefully nothing serious. Drumm is settling in very well. Heslin was warming up beforehand so perhaps Dessie aiming to have him back for the 17th!

Overall on the balance of the 70+ minutrs it was a good performance and a great win-never easy coming across the border and getting a win so well done to all squad and management.5 wins from 5 games is as good as it gets so all down to the the game in 2 weeks at home against Down with top spot up for grabs.

Heslin has been injured. No issue there! Was abroad at one point recently; work related.

He was warming up today before the match. Hopefully he will be back soon..

Jonathan Lynam responded well to being left out vs Limerick, he was our most effective player yesterday, great work rate, two points from play including a clever fisted effort to seal the win, he gets into goal scoring positions regularly and this aspect of his game needs improvement but overall he was influential

Great win yesterday but a few injuries picked up which is never good but with the 2 week break before the Down game hopefully all will be back fit and raring to go including Heslin and Loughlin.Good to see O'Sullivan and McCormack back fit again and in the squad yesterday giving the management team more options.Hopefully a big Westmeath crowd turn up on Padys day because at the game last year in Newry with Westmeath 6 pts up going into second the Down home support played a huge part in them turning the game around-the noise was mental-so the same home support is vital because no doubt Down will have a huge travelling support.

They can't even post regular match updates for our county teams

I think this is more to do with our county managers refusing to reveal their teams until virtually the day of the match.

Not many talking points out of this game. Drumm lost 3 balls trying to carry it out of Defense, we were lucky Antrim never capitalized, Maguire I thought was solid and was put on Antrims two best players Shivers and Ronan Boyle. Hopefully Wally is ok.

Anyone notice the area of pitch where eveyone kept slipping (down by Westmeath dugout) and Westmeath sauntering in to dressing room at half time as if coming out of mass.

Regular updates posted on twitter yesterday from Belfast anyway. If you go to county website, scroll down to 2024 fixtures and click on the competition name, the league table pops up. Certainly room for improvement but look a bit harder before having a pop at CB.

A lot of the time no scorers mentioned, they never once mentioned subs who were brought on or who they came on for, very far behind a lot of counties on Twitter in regards to live updates, Antrim for example had clips of scores uploaded as the game went on
