Replying To Viking66:  "Hopefully we might beat Louth. We werent that far off them a couple years ago, and we are better now. A couple of late penalties put a gloss on the result for Louth that day."
It would be the shock of the century of Wexford were to beat Louth who are reigning Leinster champions, and are absolutely flying at the moment. Being 'not that far off them' a couple of years ago counts for absolutely nothing. Louth just keep on getting better.

It would be a huge shock for sure, but anything is possible in real Championship. Knockout.

Rushie is back! The big man has returned to the panel for the championship. He was key part of Na Fianna winning Ireland and will be interesting to see where he might be tried if he gets a start.

Chris C has his old spot at centre half nailed down. Liam was tried in around the square a few times but not sure that's n urgent need, Regardless of all that he be great addition even if he does not become a first choice.

Ah it is great that Wexford got Promoted.
Fair play.

Problem will be staying up next year. Hopefully we will have the lads back who missed all of this year with injury or recovering from injury back fully fit, we will need them all if we are to be competitive in div2.

Will he start though? Now I'm a great believer in the lack of need for 3-4 months pre-season at 35 years old especially but is he more likely to be an impact sub than a starter?
He is a great option in backs or forwards. I'm really confident for the year ahead and believe we can win Leinster and give a redemption for the semi final last year. Not saying I think we will win All-Ireland but we are better than the semi last year.

He has great positional intelligence. Maybe an option on wing? Its pace we lack in backs though and that's not Liam's super power.

Backs can match most players man to man physically and do well in winning ball but badly exposed against Cork when caught for pace. Not confident that has been addressed.

But do share your optimism. Think they have good chance of top three. They are dogged and don't drop the head which makes them a match for any team on a going day.

We will find out shortly.

I think 6 or forwards is the spot for him, he just doesn't have the pace to keep up with a Darragh Fitzgibbon etc. Chris won't be moving from 6 (nor should he), Rushey be doing well to make a 26 I feel.

I think they need to have a look at young Mullen from Kilmacud as a corner back, hes is certainly an option who could deal with Niland or Whelan when they come up against Galway. Probably just lacks that aerial ability for Rabbitte but i still would not overlook it as an option

He'd be ideal gap man in some circumstances, Was very solid for Na Fianna sweeping up behind the 40 but different story when you have lads running at you handing off the shoulder or dragging backs into sprints that they will never win! Bellew and Smyth are very efficient at that as is and the two Conors, Burke and Donohoe are what we need on the wings and middle third.

Even so, he be good addition to panel if he makes the cut as he brought more than just his skills to Na Fianna.

I think Niall will have learned loads from last year and Dublin are definitely not as bad as that semi v Cork. Dublin and Galway are both on upward trajectories, and it bodes well for the championship. I know KK are KK, but I think they may struggle to get to a Leinster final this year, so I definitely think we could get a Galway v Dublin Leinster final.
