What's the craic with Semple Stadium having to explain social distancing at Hurling finals. Was rugby match not a sellout on Saturday in their stadium?

Indeed it was. Was actually at the rugby myself, and nobody there had an issue with all seats being filled. Was also in a fairly full stand in Wexford Park on Sunday for the county senior and intermediate football finals, and nobody there was complaining either.

Seems the only people complaining in Semple Stadium were local supporters who felt social distancing should still be in place. But they're wrong. There's no requirement for it any more at all.

It was a full house for the soccer and the rugby as far as I know.

It was, Paul Reid HSE CEO and Michael D Higgins were at the soccer, Fergal Bowers 1 of the main covid reporters for RTE was at the rugby. Stupid decisions from government today, wrong priorities free or subsided antigen tests need to be made available for starters.

Parnell was pretty much full too on Saturday night.

Pretty ironic that the Sean Treacy band were playing Amhrán na bhFiann before a contest for the Dan Breen trophy in front of so many wet the beds,
