Intermediate shaping up nicely with Carryduff Shamrocks and Carryduff all close to eachother. The four Junior semi finalists look like going same as league form with 2 games played. Very nasty action in Clonduff Liatroim game.

Replying To Jab.Lift:  "Bredagh deserve their place in the senior championship, made Portaferry work hard in the first 30 mins, again the ports hit 2.23, no sands lined out and they emptied their bench in second half so I'd say a much improved performance and starting to find their mojo again.
Big pitch exploited Bredagh who only hit 0.14 with 4 or 5 from placed ball."
Bredagh definitely deserve to be there improving all the time won't be long until their getting a few wins on the board then you never know fighting for a place in the final in next 5/6 years

Castlewellan are the surprise package of the Junior championship so far.. Nothing between the Point and Ballela again, Point seeing out the win. Throw in Kilclief this is an exciting championship. Carryduff must be favorites for intermediate although either Shamrocks or Liatroim could beat them with a bit of luck.

With 5 days to go how do we see the senior final going with what seems two evenly matched teams
Toss of a coin

Gives a wet day on Saturday which will have an impact on both teams.
Crans defense will prefer the wet ground but their forwards not so much.
Ports,if at full strength, should cope ok in the wet conditions but it's not suited to some of the younger lads... as always this fixture is hard to call.

Over the past 3 years in championship in this fixture ports are maybe 5 wins v Ballycrans 3. I would expect a Ports win by 3 but it will go down to the wire.

Crans have plenty of championship experience in their team so I would expect a good tight physical game.

Ports by 3 .

If that rain keeps up as forecast Ballygalget could be under water
