From reading the programme on Sunday they have players from all over Ireland including some Native Londoners.

It's the same for most clubs having players from all four provinces. The days of TCG being all Donegal men and KKG being all Kerry men is long gone.

Good piece on London here. They have retained most of their squad from last year and are quietly going about their business. I see the pundits are saying that the Div 4 sides will have them figured out but I think London will cause problems.

disappointing start to the league for the hurlers and footballers.

Hurlers seem to have a few new faces, but the footballers seem to be a fairly steady panel with many of the same players involved from last year. The Sligo game was very disappointing very flat and never really looked like winning it. Shame as they haven't seemed to have kicked on under maher this year despite some good players in there. Are they winding themselves up for a good tilt at the Connacht champ and a shot at a provincial final?

London were poor on Sunday, especially in the second half. It was as if the management hadn't taken in to account the conditions. First half they played well and were unlucky with the goal and also Sligo's late rally at the end of the half.

Second half was very negative; short kick outs when the keeper could have easily hit the opposite 40 with that wind. Also didn't kick anything long when in possession around the middle. Went backways and lateral far too much and really only played with 2/3 permanent forwards in the second half.

At club level I see cup games are starting mid April with the league in June, three bank holidays in May probably dictating this schedule. Fancy Wandsworth to push on, seem to be well run and do really well at recruitment.
At senior you would fancy Round Towers to challenge Fulham and St Kiernans.

Anyone know what's going on with Neasden Gaels? Conceded both their fixtures in the early season competition.

Seen St Jude's are playing in London as well. Is that a permanent thing or a bit like Finbarrs playing a few games in the hurling?

I think its just for League and Cups. Neasden seem to be finished, a fall from grace given all the talk a few years ago of flying lads over and back from Ibiza for games etc and paying big money just to lose a London senior semi final.

What is happening with the hurling?
I hear it has been delayed due to an illegal player in the semi final.
Robert Emmets seem to have gone very petulant now threatening to wind the club up in an act of desperation?
It seems again that club, county and provincial figures don't seem to know the rules or making them up as they go along just like a few years ago after covid.
An absolute shambles. Everyone is doing these jobs voluntarily but surely heads need to roll, if people aren't fit for their positions they shouldn't be there.
Gabriels will win their appeal it seems but they should offer a replay and Emmets need to withdraw their childish statement.
