Last I had heard was it was going through planning with Ealing council. I had seen the plans for that - looked very impressive.

I wasnt sure if TCG would get the exclusive use of this or not? or how would the use of it be distributed?

I havent heard - but I really dont know how London would vote here.

Financially my guess would be they would be better off in the current format - however from competitiveness & bettering the standard Proposal B would be a no brainer.

Seemed to be rebuilding well and won intermediate last year. Senior this year, drew won and lost five, were competitive in all their games, down intermediate with Kilburn next year."
They train in Mitcham RFC...where Round Towers also train I believe.

How many clubs in London have their own pitches now?

McCurtains, TCG and Kiernans are the only ones in London with their own pitch I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe Clarets too?

Clarets well beaten by Sean Mac's, Brendans edged out St Judes, two early goals look to have been the difference.

Joes, Clarets, Neasden, Tara, St Anthonys, Eire Og all have their own pitches. Dulwich used to play on Peckham Rye i believe? Not sure if they still do

the below are pitches I know were used this year.
McCurtains: Goodmayes
TCG: Greenford
Kiernans: Barnet Lane
Round Towers/Sean Treacys - Mitcham two pitches (share with Mitcham rugby club)
St Joes - Perivale
Eire Og - Downhills Park
Tara's - Clayton Road

Are the below still used, haven't heard about many games at them this year.
Clarets - Hayes
North London Shamrocks - Tottenhall
St Anthonys - Reading
Dulwich Harps - Peckham Rye

Clarets played a few games this year in Hayes.

Wandsworth have a pitch out at Hazelwood that they have played a few matches at.

Can't remember the last time Dulwich played in Peckham. Must be at least 4 years ago now. Likewise with Anthony's playing games in Reading.

Think St Joes now have their own pitch at Perivale Park and if it's not been mentioned Eire Og have got one in Downhills Park too.

Oh yeah, forgot about NLS's pitch. Wonder why more games aren't there?

Even Naomh Padraig (The irish guards) had their own pitch!!

Having played at quite a few of the 'outside pitches' ie not greenford or Rusilip, a lot of them are quite decent. The back pitch in Greenford during the summer is sound but when it gets to around even september time its not great to play on at all

with two pitches in Mitcham there should be at least two weekends scheduled for fixtures in south London that could accomodate, Towers, Cuchullainns (H+F), Dulwich, Treacys, Dulwich ladies, Towers ladies, Green Isle Camoige, Croydon camoige, also I believe most of Fulham are Clapham based so you could have their footballers and hurlers there.

That back pitch is not as fun when you're the one collecting the balls from behind the goals!

To play on my favourite outside of Ruislip is probably Cayton Road. Always been in good condition when I've been down there.

Never really enjoyed playing in Mitcham and Scrubs.

Hayes is a decent pitch but I'm sure it's on the smaller side. Feels quite narrow.

Not sure which side is worse, at least at the far end you have the big opening in line with the posts so as long as theres plenty of points being scored you should be okay! haha

Never played on the hayes pitch so wouldnt know, played at cayton road a couple time and yes thats a very well kept ground.

In other news I see were looking for a new Operations and Finance officer, any word on potential candidates? Things certainly seem to have improved on a youth development side of things the last few years, what else does the job include?

I believe the pitch in Reading is temporarily unavailable but should be available again soon.
