Very poor in Portlaoise.
I honestly don't believe that promotion is a target for the mgt this year. They are doing a lot of tinkering with the team. They seem to want to try out as many players as possible so that will the championship and Tailteann Cup comes around they will know their best 15 and subs.
It's a risky strategy but with 3 home games to come they should survive in Div 3. No 6 shirt is a huge problem. We don't appear to have any candidate good enough for that role. Canice would solve that issue but then that will leave a gap in the middle of the pitch . Strange that Sheridan didn't start yesterday evening. Good to see Doherty back in action. I hope MC Daniel will return soon. He's a very fit and strong lad. Cummins was also missed for his strength , drive and point taking. The games are coming thick and fast now.

Missing lads of course like mullen and cummins and not easy for young players like the two corner backs, two very good players. Tough on young lads coming into a team lacking leaders. We are very light unfortunately. Speed and a lot of talented lads but nowhere near the required power and strength. Midfield not there at all. Very disappointing. Another year in div 3.
