Great call 19616609 on the Clans. They had a great comeback last night. Mc Keever had some match.

The big one starts this weekend

Gaels V Roche---Why this game is fixed for Cooley il never know. Expect the Gaels to win with a good few to spare

Gers v Fechins--- 50/50 imo

Mochtas v Drednots--- Mochtas win comfortably

Martins v Joes---Im going for a Joe's win. Never turned up in the league final but hearing they have a fully fit McCaul and Grimes Murphy (who went off early in that final)

just wondering is there a reason for the late start? in senior and intermediate? or is it very short run off? is it 4 groups of 4 same as meath? will the knock out stages not be running into october at that rate? my own club is finshed its championship if they win tomorrow as they win finsh 3rd in group and thus avoid relegation semi finals by avoiding 4th place. so 25 % of meath clubs in football will be finshed thier club football after this weekend. i dont think its any harm really, probably 75% of clubs will be finshed matches by late september . players are on go training since mid january i think its only right that most clubs are done by early october and some by mid september the year is long enough, and november to februaury is not weather anyone wants to be out playing in or even at matches

Dickie it's usually August when the Championship starts up in the Wee County. In Senior and Inter there are 12 teams each. 4 groups with 3 teams in each group. The top 2 go into the quarter-finals. There will be a draw for the quarter finals. The top team will play one of the runners up from the other groups. The bottom teams go into the relegation play-offs. The bottom team in group 1 will play the bottom team in group 3 and the bottom team in group 2 will play the bottom team in group 4. The two losers will then face off against each other in a relegation play-off with the losers relegated. In Junior there are 14 teams. 2 groups with 3 teams and 2 groups with 4 teams. The top 2 teams go into the quarter-finals.
