Great win for the Jocks....weren't tested in championship this year apart from first half against the Dreads. The Blues didn't show up and Moctas just had no plan B when direct running into their defence just didn't work. They are a very balanced team now brimming with confidence. Let's see were it goes but I would really be happier if other senior teams stepped up. Hope this is the start of it. Up the Jocks

Jocks were only ok on the day, never got out of 2nd gear. Plenty more in them. The mochtas in fairness had a great year but i really find it hard to see anyone else challenging apart from Ardee next year. The blues are officially a spent force.
If the jocks win the 1st game in Leinster they'll go all the way.

Well done St.Mochtas on a great year. Two senior finals and right up there in the league.

Good luck to the Jocks in Leinster. They can go far.
Any word on new proposals from Monday night's meeting of CB.
Both proposals A and B are reducing the county players links with their club.
In A they will miss 11 of the 20 games while in B they miss 11 of the 17. They will only play in pressure club games.
This will be a huge loss to the young club players who learn soo much from playing with county stars like Paddy Keenan in less important games. Paddy probably learned a lot from it too which he used in the important club games.
What also about the numbers 25-35 in the county panel. Might they get less than 10 games in the year after training hard with county and club. In fact they might not get a game with the club if it had a settled winning combination by the time the county excursion was over.
I think we need a proposal C.

They won't miss that many games, only if Louth go really far into competitions is it not and let's be honest.

Let's not base football around county players, dont forget 95% players are not county players and they had currently pre covid been twiddling thumbs most of the summer so more games brings on ALL players. County footballers will be busy training , playing challenges and playing competitions so they will be fine

Best of luck to the jocks today representing Louth vs rathvilly.
Commiserations to the fechins hurlers on their loss and congratulations to glen emmets on their victory over the Meath junior champions.

Great win for the jocks yesterday they really are a brilliant side now and so well drilled. They definitely have the potential to go all the way in Leinster. But each round will become harder & harder. Next week will be a much tougher game and away from home too. But if they manage to get through it they will have a big day out in Croke Park for the semis final as both Leinster club semis are been held there the year and that would be great for all the players. Everyone in the county should get behind them.

Great win for the Glen Emmett's too they also have a great chance to win Leinster if they keep their heads down and keep working hard. Hopefully grimes will be fit for the tougher games ahead. The Fechins will be out soon too and they'll also fancy their chances. Great for the county to have these great teams representing us.

Great win for the Jocks against Rathvilly Carlow Champions. First win for the rural club in Leinster. Looked like it was going to a competitive affair early on but once the goals went in that was that. Onwards and upwards. A very impressive performance, well done lads.

Have the championship relegation play offs been played yet ?? Seems a bit strange that they would drag them out this long considering any team involved would have been knocked out weeks ago.

Haven't heard much in the line of new managers just yet ?
Best of luck to the men from monasterboice and Tullyallen this weekend as they continue their Leinster campaigns, both with quarter final outings.
Naomh Mairtin play shelmaliers in haggardstown on Sunday, while the glen emmets play clonbullogue on Saturday in Offaly.
I believe Naomh mairtin will get a chance to play in croke park if they progress to the semi final.
