Agreed, better to stay in division one. Promotion is certainly no easy task. It would be good to see more young players come through, but only a few have taken their opportunity in recent years - Moore and Roarty.
It was unfortunate McCahill got injured this year, he looked like he was able to step up in the league. Of the rest of the Four Masters contingent, two that aren't in the panel yet, I think have the best potential to offer something at senior level, along with McCahill - Tomas Carr and Callum McCrea. I think I'd like to see them in the panel next year.
Has there been anyone putting their hand up in the club championship?

Thomas Carr was on the Donegal senior panel this year. He came on for the last 10 minutes against Cork in the Championship.
I suppose the trick is to find the right balance. As in, do enough to stay up, but don't put everything we have into it. And if three or four youngsters get good exposure and experience while doing it, all the better.

Thomas Carr was on the Donegal senior panel this year. He came on for the last 10 minutes against Cork in the Championship."]That was his brother Turlough, Tomas is 17/18 and was too young to be county senior this year. He will be allowed to go on the panel next year if selected.
