Yeah Corrigan is related to Collie Clarke. Sure that's not new news.

I'm not saying him being an uncle of Collie is new news!! I was trying to give clues as to who the new manager was! Dom Corrigan is the new manager of Clonguish for 2026. For all my haters out there.....my sources pulled through for me again. Spinx (Longford) - Posts: 1468 - 03/12/2025 12:03:44 2646874 Link 0 |

Willie's boy named him before the AGM. You had to wait for news from the AGM. It's easy call something after the event.

Makes me nostalgic for this time last year when we were being told for certain that Dominic Corrigan had been appointed manager of Killoe. A few days later the same poster claimed that Trevor Smullen would be managing Connollys. LongfordgaaAbú (Longford) - Posts: 643 - 03/12/2025 13:11:38 2646884 Link 0 |

I've been sitting on this for the last week. I didn't mention any names as it could scupper any potential deal. Just like how I didn't mention Dolan's name at the beginning, until it was confirmed they had moved on from him. I had it out before the weekend that there was 'white smoke in Newtown' and it would be announced over the weekend. But, yeah, you just choose to ignore that. Huge (name wise) backroom team involved as well. My source has come through for me again. Spinx (Longford) - Posts: 1468 - 03/12/2025 14:04:49 2646892 Link 0 |

I've moved on from that source as he was unreliable. I was stupid to take him at his word. No longer on speaking terms with him because of the embarrassment he brought on me. Spinx (Longford) - Posts: 1468 - 03/12/2025 14:05:59 2646893 Link 0 |

Yes, he has pulled through for me again. I will be getting word later on a new appointment with another club later this evening. Spinx (Longford) - Posts: 1468 - 03/12/2025 14:09:05 2646895 Link 0 |

The 5 in a row beckons. Hope they not get giddy again after 2 in a row as happened in 2004.

Lads, has it even been announce anywhere about Corrigan taking over Clonguish? Oddball (Roscommon) - Posts: 998 - 03/12/2025 14:12:50 2646897 Link 0 |

I think the merry go round is still moving, there are clubs needing managers and not really knowing it yet.

You were lucky not to scupper the deal. Poor reporters like you, give the likes of me a bad name. I knew Corrigan had the job over 10 days ago, but deliberately kept his name out of the forum. Spinx (Longford) - Posts: 1468 - 03/12/2025 15:58:48 2646918 Link 0 |

Ok Romano, is this new source the same source who told you Carberry had left Colmcille after the county final?

No, I'm not talking to him anymore. My new source is 100% so far this winter. Spinx (Longford) - Posts: 1468 - 03/12/2025 16:26:55 2646926 Link 0 |
