You should try it, broaden your horizons!"
I look forward to the new year to see if Ger Carberry has left Colmcille. I don't see why he would move on as he has reached two county finals in two years and only a kick of a ball in both. However, you may be right but for being a casual reader of this thread you seem to talk a lot of waffle.

If Carberry has left Colmcille then they've lost a very tactically clever manager but they have such an experienced and seasoned team they should be well able to get another good manager and perform strongly in 2026.
Clonguish, Mostrim, Granard and Fr Manning Gaels are all apparently looking for managers also.
A bigger commitment to manage a senior team especially someone like Clonguish hoping to win a championship, I wonder who of the big names that are on the circuit will come into Longford next year?

Colmcille wanted Carberry to stay, but he just felt with touring again it would not help Colmcille in the long run.
If Carberry has a change of heart and stays on, I will leave the Hoganstand.
That is how confident I am that Carberry sticks to his decision.
Clonguish are 90% there with getting a new management team in place.

It's a coach from Westmeath. When did they not act fast when appointing a manager?

Could you throw us a few more breadcrumbs regarding the identity of this manager. If you can't name him, can you tell us any info about him?

That would be a huge appointment a man with inter county experience could be important for such a young team, how have they managed to get this done so quickly
