Replying To Garmin:  "Killoe vs Slashers - Killoe with an easy win here 6+

Colmcille vs Granard - closer than expected but Colmcille by 3

Clonguish vs Mullinalachta - Clonguiish to surprise everyone here by 2

Dromard vs Rathcline - also closer than expected Dromard by 1"
I am predicting all games to be tight contests.
Killoe to beat Slashers but tighter than expected - slashers always raise it for killoe.
Colmcille to beat Granard - Colmcille coming good and Granard not as good as expected.
Dromard to beat Rathcline - Expect this to be very close also - If rathcline get oran kenny on it enough they could cause a huge upset though.
Mullinalachta to beat Clonguish - Experience may just shave this one. Really good clonguish team however who were seriously impressive with a full team for the first time all year vs granard.

Clonguish do not have anyone else bar the Bardens. Paul is still carrying them with his scoring powess.

If Clonguish get a run on mullinalaghta, they won't be able to handle it

Congrats to our Senior hurlers on a fantastic win yesterday against hot favourites Longford Slashers. The damage was done in the first half and maybe even before the sliothar was thrown in! After been dealt a huge blow in the Wolfe Tones game with Paul Barden going off injured and missing the final, it was a huge surprise to Slashers to see Bart Hanley togged out for Clonguish. Bart had retired last year but answered the call when Paul went down and went on to score 1-3 yesterday! It was also great to see later on, members of the Longford Pipe Band lead the team and our young stars for the future down the street of Newtown. Hopefully our few footballers stayed off the sauce last night!!

If a big question great potential but not sure this year and they lost mostrim so writing off mullinaghta is ridiculous. If mullinalaghta get run on them will they also be able to handle it to different question too. It will be close enough though

Will they let them get a run on them or are they too experienced and smart? Mullinalachta will filter bodies back and slow the game down. May just have too much for the young team.

Looks like there is confidence in the Clonguish team based on paddypower odds. They were 9/2 yesterday and now they are 9/4

Ballymore1967 has it on good account from close sources in Paddy Power that several Clonguish players were in the betting shop lumping it all on Clonguish to win!! He also heard that some of those lads were the minor players and has now reported them to the local authorities!!! He'll have an update on this by the end of the day.

Paul being retired for two years would probably mean he isn't carrying Clonguish much

No. It's just more silly trolling like the long retired Paul Barden still carrying Clonguish.
Killoe, Colmcille and Dromard to come through with easy wins. I am thinking or maybe I am hoping our match with Mullinalaghta will be close but still I think Mullinalaghta will have just too much.

Mighty win for the hurlers last week

Hopefully we'll give a good account of ourselves tomorrow. Weather is not promised good and that will suit Mullinalaghta more than our pacy forwards. Killoe, Colmcille and Dromard to advance in the other games.

Granard didn't seem to turn up today, but hopefully they will be able to build on a good year.

You didn't get your wish I'm afraid "Revo". Pinching myself this morning after that second half performance. Really proud of how the team came of age after a really poor first half. As I said here I was hoping for a close match, in my wildest dreams I never thought we would run away with it as easily as we did in the end. Perspective is still required, this is a Mullinalaghta team that is at the end of the road and there is nothing won yet. Far from it.
