Replying To Leitrimforliam:  "One of the semi finals is in Pairc Sean at the weekend so the need for suitable neutral venues looks to be over for a while.

Gortletteraghs set up will be up there with Ballinamore and Pairc Sean when they get this new stand built."
Pairc Shean..... Ui Heislin..... I don't know about you but I'd recommend driving to Ballinamore if you're looking for it

Pitch is a lovely job alright. No additional parking.. not yet anyway and unsure if they have plans for it.

What I thought alright. My assumption is that pairc Sean will not be used again this year, even if completed I dunno why they'd risk tearing it up, ballinamore and 1/2 others are available if needed, at the moment all pitches should be perfect with this week's weather

i'd be surprised if Pairc Sean is available for the start of the league, it was only seeded a couple of weeks ago and it'd need time to bed in. its definitely not available for the rest of 2024

It should stay idle until May / June next year... there's absolutely no panic and we don't want a suitation happening like what happened over at the Hyde.

Any injury concerns for the games on Saturday or potential starting 15s if anyone is in the know?

Nothing being said anyways I'd assume full strength for all:

Mohill v Fenagh - Mohill +2
SOH V Mary's - SOH +4

Definitely. Heard talk of not playing any national league games there next year. Don't know if that true or not. But probably give it the best chance if they don't.

If that's the case would we have to pay games in longford again? If Ballinamore wasn't allowed hold Wicklow game in TC this year it will hardly be let hold National league games?

Fenagh have to get a big result eventually and I think it will happen Saturday. Mary's to win by 3/4 points and win it out.
Off on holidays tomorrow so won't make any game's unfortunately which should be a decent double header.

Predictions
Mohill v Fenagh
A loss is going to sting. My head says Mohill but Fenagh has had the tougher games tough.
Fenagh by 1

Mary's v Ballinamore
Ballinamore have kicked on the most since their disappointing league final. But Mary's have the capability to raise their game when needed to.
Mary's by 4.

Intermediate
Kiltubrid v Melvin Gaels
Kiltubrid has improved since the league, but Melvin should edge this replay.
Melvin by 3

Aughavas v Drumreilly
Aughavas are unlucky to be involved in a relegation semi after 2 wins. They'll be too strong for Drumreilly.
Aughavas by 9

Aughnasheelin v Ballinaglera
This could be a battle.
Ballinaglera by 1.

Huge game for Fenagh especially they need to win a semi final after losing a good few in recent years, I feel it now or never for this team . However Mohill know how to win these games and that will make all the difference. While I'd love to see Fenagh win I think Mohill will have a few points to spare.
Most people are going for Carrick in second game but if Ballinamores forward clicks and they could get ahead by a few points I wonder have Carrick the forwards to pull it out of the fire. Gonna be close but I'll give Ballinamore the nod by a point

Concerned as to why games are being played in Pairc Sean today. Drove past this morning, ground only seeded and no grass visible. Dont know why we would risk tearing it up.
