Tommy and Joe walking doesn't reflect well on the players at all but it does happen to be fair to Fenagh. But not having a plan in place to replace them and to bring in two novices if the rumours are true shows a real lack of leadership of forward thinking in the club. That's not to say the two boys aren't geniuses but the point is nobody knows. It's likely they draw the Willis in the quarter finals who they should beat and then after that it's 2 games to win a championship. In the end of the day them two games will be about the players then anything so there's no reason why they can't win it if they gain momentum from somewhere. Replying To thepunisher: "favourite to win intermediate this year?" I'd have to go with kiltubrid , they have talent all over the pitch . Con Doyle at 11 has been a big player for them this year . I don't think bringing in the 2 lads is a big risk at all. If everything wasn't well in the camp they were never winning a championship anyways. The team is going to be as fit as they are now. Not much training done this time of the year only maintain what ever level you have. It's about been fresh for games. If true the 2 lads that are coming in will be more than capable of running good sessions for the remainder of the year. Can see them going all the way this year" They've good players all over the pitch alright but 3 or 4 draws in the league and relegation tells me they were very unlucky but have an inability to see out tight games. And would imagine that all the knockout games will be tight, so no guarantee they will make it to final. You would think carrigallen and drumkerrin in semi finals, they should come up thrumps in last group games. Fight for quarter final places then but would expect melvin and kiltubrid to come through if they avoid each other in quarters. Well if a game was down to the wire would you trust lads that have won county titles to get the tactics right to close it out or untried managers? Bigger teams could handle their forward line but they do have size and direct running in the middle. I fancy Drumkeerin or Melvin Gaels (even after their shock defeat to Aughavas at the start of the campaign). I haven't seen Carrigallen yet this year so I'm unsure on them. I wouldn't sleep on Allen Gaels either they have some excellent players and if they can get their house in order they should be there or thereabouts. Last year v Mohil lost in extra time. This year v Mary's and SOH and lost them also. So I don't get your argument that if that if a game goes down to the wire the experience on the line will help them as it hasn't in the past. Strange Mickey Graham still hasn't named his coaching team for 2025. Both Andy Moran and Luke Bree gone from last years set up. I would think Mickey will surely add one coach at very least. Maybe he has someone lined up but can't announce as they might be with a club team already. A bit like Colm O'Rourkes issue in Meath. If that is the case then I'll guess either O'Hara from Mohill or Flynn from Mary's but I might be way off.
