the fixture felt like a dead rubber in some ways....we will get a better read on Galway's status after the Leinster Final.
Congrats to the lads

Doesn't take a genius to figure out that you'll likely get Limerick or Cork in a semi these days, regardless of what team you are.

I stopped listening a few minutes before half time. Galway were a good bit behind. They turned it around in the second half though. Well done to them.

Was a strange one. Our lads seemed to switch off when we went a man up and never really got going again.

If you stopped listening, you didn't know the HT score, but still came on here to state categorically that we were 10pts down at HT. And, have a go at posters with a less doom and gloom outlook than yourself in the process.

Very little being said from skittle and joe on the under 20s reaching the all ireland final and being leinster champions. Makes you wonder what went on with that squad the last few years that they under achieved. anyway, roll on the final

Whilst the level of performance isn't what we thought itd be it's good to see the lads have resilience if the chips are down.

Good performances so far from Killeen, Neary, Monaghan, Rory, Aaron, Whelan and Rabbite.

I think that the white jerseys that Galway wore today against Wexford befit the team very well. And now that Kildare are out of the Liam McCarthy race, Galway can continue to wear the white for the rest if the championship.

And if the Galway footballers happen to meet Westmeath later in the Sam Maguire Cup, then they can sport the white jerseys as well, and let the WM lads parade the maroon.

It was just so befitting today to see Galway dressed like that in beating Wexford.

That's the way of it. Shove that quaint hurley game off cente stage and get it done with 'til the 'real' games come along

Galway often wear white v Wexford, since Davy Fitz beat us in a 'key' NHL promotion game in Salthill in the spring of 2017. Foggy frosty the same day, and Davy geared Wexford in a shirt barely discernible from the Galway maroon, and plenty of stray passes ensued. Galway kicked on to win the double in 2017, wearing white to beat Wexford at the Leinster final.

Yeah, ever since his cameo against Kildare he's upped a gear an to me would be in line for an All-Star.

Is it just me or am I the only one that can't understand MD interviews after a game. Yesterday he focused on the come back and the fight of the players which is all well and good but surely we should not have be in that position. How many games is it now that teams are going straight through our defence and scoring goals for fun. Surly he should be trying to fix and strengthen the defensive package. Does he not see it? Dublin will target that area for sure. Please tell me he see it?
