Brian Frost manager of minor footballers. Brian Morrissey, Kevin Byrne, Gary Lynch, and James Flood on management team also.

Yeah he'll definitely be with the u20s I'd imagine, still underage there for 2 more years not sure if he'll join the seniors yet, I think he's still in good counsel.

What's giving you hope they'll be good next year? I don't know much about them TBH.

Just looking at the paper for under 20 football, Hughes from kilnaerin and Waters from martins scoring heavy, surely on David Murphys radar,

The two north county sides with away fixtures in the semi-finals. I think in Gorey's case it's their third away trip in a row, all well beyond Oylegate too. They will certainly have to do it the hard way if they are to go on to win it.

Kilanerin are a coming team with the minors coming through, but the majority of their spine are older lads who have played under-20 county before. So they will provide St.Martin's their biggest test yet, but still expect Martin's to prevail. OLI/St.Fintan's vs Gorey should be tight, and home advantage could count, but I think Gorey overall have the better spread of quality and were down a couple the last day too.

Yeah was freetaker on the Wexford u17s this year, heard there's 7 u17s on their starting 15 and the split is 9 Fintans and 6 OLI

As a bit of an aside, anybody know why Our Lady's Island/St Fintan's are allowed to compete under that name, when every other amalgamated side has to come up with some sort of hybrid name?

e.g. Wexford Gaels instead of Vols/St. Joseph's, Hollow Rovers instead of Duffry Rovers/Marshalstown, Moguegeen Gaels instead of Fethard/Clongeen, etc.?

If ever there was a combination primed for full-time amalgamation it's those two. They really seem to have their houses in order though in terms of equality between both clubs.

I always thought Kilanerin/Tara Rocks went under the banner of Ballynastragh Gaels up to under-20 as well. They certainly did a few years ago anyway. Have Kilanerin subsumed the name entirely now?

If anyone wants to watch the Shels game last weekend, quality of the recording is good enough, you hear all the local lads giving abuse as a bonus!
