My understanding is earlier in year a lot of younger Gaels panel were doing volunteer work in community helping people through Covid. It was decided that they should focus on this and not field a second team for a few months, very commendable from these players.

Reserve Div 1 should be 15 a side end off. Bar maybe Knockbride and Bailieborough all the other clubs are senior championship teams who were able to tog out 30 players during the championship. if for some reason one team turns up with only 16 or 17 togged out then fair enough go to ref and opposition beforehand and tell them and allowances can be made in that incidence. Was at a game a couple of years ago where one team decided to play 13 a side (which was within the rules) when they had another 17 subs on the bench. So four lads didn't get football. Makes no sense. I would think so, has to be said the standard in both Junior semi finals was terrible. Still think whoever wins the replay will beat Drung easily in the final. From Sundays game you'd have to think Knockbride have the advantage. Intermediate Final on the other hand is a very even pairing, should be a good final

Denn will be kicking themselves. Great score by Conaty, should have been the winner. In that situation you just have to keep fouling out the field, no need for black cards, just fouling without pulling to the ground. I think Knockbride will win the replay.
