Replying To CiarraiMick:  "Cork always have a chance because of the rivalry. No rivalry is a big in gaa sport. No counties have played each other more in any provence than Cork and Kerry. They have even played each other in two all ireland finals and 4 semis. That gas never happened with teams from the same provence. Kerry Cork always take on a life of their own. Kerry should win but no shock if Cork won either. Cork always play their best football v Kerry and they have some really class players."
Mick, I'm sure whether you are referring to the number of times Cork n Kerry have met in championship outside of Munster or what, but two teams from another province have met in the final: Armagh vs Tyrone in 2003. Actual that was the first time that two teams from the same province met in an AIF.

I was just saying no teams have met more often in championship than Kerry and Cork. I would also say outside of of their provinces they have met more than other teams from same provinces. However you are correct in Armagh and Tyrone being the first from same province to meet in all ireland final in football of course. In hurling Clare and Tipp played in 97 final

Replying To Midleton:  "I July 1987, Cork drew with Kerry in the Pairc with a last-second free from Larry Tompkins and then went to Killarney and beat Kerry well in the replay."
O remember that game...Kerry only got one point at very end of 1st half and I remember us wondering would Kerry go a full half without scoring at all...I liked that Cork team and era, they were new after Kerry dominance for all the previous decade...
