Replying To galwayfball:  "I'm sickened with the second half.

I think your poor first half will give ye a lot to work on which is no bad thing heading into the semi final

Hope O Hora is ok and good luck in the semi final.

Best team won"
I actually dont wish O Hora well. I have now seen what he did to Shane Walsh. Absolute disgraceful behaviour and I'd hope none of you would defend it.

I wish o hora a speedy recovery his tackling and aggression was a joy to watch, that is the tenacity that Mayo football is famous for and will be needed against the dubs.
If only galway had someone like that to try keep donoghue or Conroy quiet in the 2nd half.
I remember o hora in some video of the club championship, very confident "we're going to win the championship" they didn't but it shows his attitude.
He was in the run for motm with those 3 massive turnovers all within 2 min of each other

Speedy recovery and bring much the same for dublin please

Fantastic 2nd half display from us . I thought we were very good first 15 mins. Our tackle count was well below in first half but we were immense 2nd half. How many times do u see 3 men hanging off Aidan o Shea and get nothing for it. Padraig o Hora was fantastic yesterday. Great tackler and never gives up, very good coming out with the ball. There is no doubt he was taken out of it with a fist into the ribs by Tierney. There is 41 on the panel and anyone of them could come in at any time. There are players outside the 41 aswell that would be very close aswell. Great credit has to go to Horan, Mc Donald, Burke, lally, Moffat Finn, Doyle, Tactically very astute, Medically on the ball straight away when Loftus was taken out of it aswell as o Hora, Conroy.

Massive game in 3 weeks. We have to target Comerford Fenton, kilkenny, Con, Mc Carthy. Go at them and take them on, They love to clear the D when they are attacking. We need to be aggressive against them, controlled aggression

1.Get Match ups right.
2.When we go ahead go at them and be ruthless.
3.Bench needs to be ready when they are introduced. Empty the tank.
4.Concede no goals. The last few games they have got early goals.
5.Take Davy Byrne on every time when we get the ball and go at him. He will foul.

Well done management and team, great win and lengthens the summer for us. Respect is important, and you would do well to remember Dublin v Kildare has not been played yet. A bit early and disrespectful for you to be suggesting how we set up against a certain team, when we don't know who we're playing yet.

You need to make up your mind.
You wished O Hora well.
Then you don't wish him well after seeing the incident.
Now you admit you were wrong as you weren't aware of what happened.

I saw the clip of what happened to shane and it looks bad. I didnt see the start of the incident and I still havent but many galway posters have and have said shane started it so I wouldnt be one to be in the wrong and not correct myself.

You think youd be in good form with an AI semi final to look forward to and a connacht title and not be bothered by anything a galwegian has to say

The fixture for the semi-final is the Saturday night as well predicted in advance since it involves the Dubs. Let's hope Mayo get more say/luck with the ref. Based on his previous involving both sides I'm hoping we don't get landed with that Derry lad. We just need one set of rules applied fairly to both sides.

Can u explain why its a Saturday if dubs are involved? U would think that Sunday would be more suitable for dubs games as at least 1 set of supporters wouldn't have to make the trek home late on Sunday for work Monday. And save the Saturday for when everyone has a trek. Now I know it's a moot point in this case because the other semi is postponed 6 days , but I'd like to understand the logic.

I'm not hearing good news from a training session and an injury to Oisín. Told to me by a very genuine and knowledgeable person.

I think the logic is that the Dubs supporters will bring big numbers to Croke Park or at least use all of their ticket allocation whether a game is on a Saturday evening or a Sunday afternoon, whereas supporters coming from other parts of the country don't travel in numbers on a Saturday evening, Mayo and some of the Ulster counties aside. So it's not the fault of the Dubs, it's a coincidental benefit like the fact that Croke Park is in Dublin.
