I really expected them to be in the hunt....any insights as to why it has not.
Also.the forecasts including my own are very conservative for the Carlow v Wexford clash. Viking going that bit further with a Wexford win.
The numbers would suggest a cakewalk for the Scallion Stars. My conservatism is based on being Carlow we naturally lack that boldness that stronger county supporters have. My main reasons not to forecast a 16 point win is
1.Wexford wont be as bad agsin and need the win
2.Carlow may take opportunity to play different players in readiness for semi.

Let see what pans out"
Think 2 moreso than 1. But after last weekend the lads have plenty to work on. We got more scores than Waterford and wasted more possession than them in the final 3rd. They were much more efficient in our 45 which might have had something to do with having already played.

Carlow will be without 5 players who started against Waterford 3 attackers and 2 defenders. According to the Nationalist we have a foot and and 4 ties in the Semi. So might be an opportunity for Wexford to sneak a semi spot.
Jordan Morrissey returns for Carlow which is a big plus

You are in the semi blackbog! I'd say even if you put out your 3rd string we still wont win by 29 points!

Carlow team announced:
Missing 5 key players. Looks a mixture of youth and experience.
Will be a close game.

That Carlow team is very strong even with changes. Jordan Morrissey is one of their best players and is back. I think Wexford might take a hammering today a bit like Waterford two weeks ago. Carlow by 10 at least.

Rampant Carlow to beat ailing Wexford by about 6 points.

Louth to pip Sligo by a point.

And Antrim to beat my own lovely Leitrim by about 4 points, although if our boys pull off a win, I'll happily finish on 0 points myself.

Good prediction. Carlow won by a point I believe.

Cant help but think we left that behind us. Poor 2nd goal to concede and some poor wides in the closing stages.

Mickey Harte heading to the Div 4 shield as it stands. Many people had Louth as promotion favourites.

It depends on how he used the league. Maybe he had tons of young talent and rested the better guys. He might be using this as a prep for the Championship.

Yes possibly, they're through to the semis now anyway.

Louth will face Carlow now for a place in the final and promotion. Lot of football to be played yet.
