Can Anyone Name A More Forgone Conclusion Of A Competition Than The Leinster Football Championship?

Replying To Irishcelt:  "Just interested to know can anyone name a more dominant or forgone conclusion of a competition than the Leinster football championship where the same team as won it for the past 10 years or 15 out of 16 times. It can be a GAA club championship or from any other sport in the world. I've been trying to rack my brain and can't think of anything in the present day that's like the farce that is the Leinster championship."
Rugby 6 nations, Italy has not won a game since the 2015 championship. And yet are still in it.

I won't watch a minute of it but I will watch out for deluded Dublin fans trying to kid themselves into thinking there is any sporting merit in this nonsense."
Are you for real, outside of Dublin there's not another Leinster team in top 10. Other 3 provinces worth a watching.

I'd take those odds, a 4% return on a risk free investment.

I understand what you are saying about other provinces which is never discussed but the question for me is - if you were to remove Dublin from the championship, would it become a much better product? It would be more competitive but I think the bigger issue is the style of play and negative tactics employed by teams which makes it so boring to watch.

Phil Taylor in the darts few years back or sadly the all ireland itself going for 7 in a row there. Ah look fair play to them unbelievable team massive hunger every year in every match. I recall pre covid last year when we were enjoying a big lead over them in croke Park league match they still came back at us like the game was an all ireland final. Winning mentality hard to beat.

It's over 11 years since France last won the Six Nations Championship.

Roland Garros Men's French open. Since 2005, Rafael Nadal has a win loss record of 100-2. His record in sets alone stands at 298-27.

I'd say most counties have started training and most I'd imagine are thinking positively too, still doesn't take away from the fact that they still won't win anything.

Ducksie Walsh's record is far superior. Between 1985 and 2001, he won 16 out of 17 titles, 13 of them on the trot. Dublin still have a way to go to match that.

Rubbish. Mayo and Kerry at least gave Dublin a game. Dublin's Leinster matches wouldn't even be good training games

If you start with that thought you are already beaten.
