Basically what yis are saying is

"We're tacitly aware that hurling is the number 1 GAA sport in all but Kerry but here are some spurious reasons why this fact isn't relevant and you're all bitter for acknowledging it and discussing it on a GAA discussion board. Look at the the big bad dubs"

Dublin had Kerrys number in the late 70s after not seeing them coming in the middle of the decade, before that Dublin team broke up after th elast win, both were wonderful teams, we were lucky to go again in 84. But the fact remains Leinster broke up Kerrys runs, the Dubs in 70s, Offaly in the early 80s and Meath in the latter 80s, all those counties winning All Irelands - imagine trying to get out Leinster then. Im just illustrating my point. I know Leinster is awful now and id fully acknowledge its hugely enabling for Dublin, not breaking a sweat until a quarter/semi final. I think if everyone's honest its like that for Dublin now & its been that way for Kerry for a long time, thats not taking away from their achievements or tradition, or saying in anyway that their at fault.

Munster and Leinster aren't fit for purpose Mick, they need urgent restructuring. I think it takes away from the integrity of the game as both Leinster and Munster are huge advantages to Kerry and Dublin, its not fair on Ulster or Connacht presently - its much more difficult for them to win All Irelands.

I agree with much of what you say Mick and have 100% respect for your opinion, but i dont think we will agree on this. Its like Dublin trying to argue that Kilkenny are massively competitive in the Leinster football championship.

Neither Dublin or Kerry need the advantage or the leg up their provinces offer. Id love a split championship through the divisions, could you imagine Dublin, Kerry, Cork, Meath Kildare and one or two others in a provincial, be classs, we should all crave and rise to the challenge of that level of competition if we want to call ourselves big counties and show off our tradition in my opinion anyway, neither Dublin or Kerry need long grass to be hiding in.

Elsewise a Div 3/4 separate championship between Munster/Leinster counties would bring those counties on competitively instead of getting battered by Dublin and Kerry.

Anyow im sure, we will agree to differ."
Meath didn't break up Kerrys run in the late 80s as you state, we played Meath in the 86 allireland semifinal and beat them 2:13 to 0:12, it was Cork that broke up our dominance.

Well Meath did nt beat Kerry in the 80 s and but anyway yes the provincial are a problem but when one looks at the great joy they brought Cavan and Tipperary it's a hard call. We won't solve it today anyway.

It's your hypocrisy that's the point. You're the one who saying not to change the goalposts. Are these rules only applied when you like it ? Probably.

No it's you and others who are trying to claim the other Munster counties only play hurling and just don't like the fact people are pointing out otherwise.

Your beloved Dubs are and have been just as dominant in Leinster yet you've no issues with that why is that?

Apologies Mick, my mistake, remembered Meath won in 87 and presumed (wrongly) it was Kerry. Mea Culpa.

How am I? It disproves your point means nothing.

So now explain with all the advantages you claim Kerry have at underage level why they've only one U21/20 All Ireland in over 20 years? As you're go interested in the Kerry minor teams from recent years.

Next nearest to Kerry Cork with 37 titles.

Next nearest to Dublin Meath 21 titles.

But don't let that get in your way...

Did you miss what I said in the post? A quick Google search will give you the answer seeing as you have an issue with others telling you

What about the next nearest after that. I'm guessing you won't go down that road

But it's not. Dublin have won as many Leinster titles as Kerry have in Munster. Are those figures wrong? You can Google it if you're not sure. It's very easy to do.

But you get very worked up about it when it's soneone other than Dublin.

BTW why is a Cavan man so interested in all things Dublin?

So dublin have 59 leinster and the next nearest is Meath with 21? Wow they kept that 1 quite.

So not much of a difference between Cork and Kerry in Munster and dublin and Meath in Leinster.

You'll find I rarely talk about the Dubs. Wanna tell me why a UK man like yourself has such an interest in Dublin and Kerry?

I just explained why you are being hypocritical. Read above again.
Again , you chose to ignore the minor titles. Hilarious. Keep it up. I believe they are underage level too.
