The idea that it'd somehow improve the profile of Meath or Carlow or whoever by having a few thousand Tipperary/Galway/Kilkenny fans happen to be in the stadium because they've shown up early for their team's game is ludicrous."
Mightnt improve if but it potentially add a bit more atmosphere. People have all seen how lifeless a lot of games have been this year with out a crowd.

The McDonagh Final is on before the All-Ireland Final. Last year was great to have it before the Leinster Final. Great crowd in from Laois.

White sliotar was used in the Joe McDonagh games over the week end as well.
Interesting to see it it will be white and yellow for the two finals. (McCarthy and McDonagh) Both fixed for CP on same day. But my guess is that it is already covered in the competitions regulations, obviously in the 'small print' section

The yellow sliothar should be used under lights. Otherwise, the white one is fine.
