20 min gone game over training match for the dubs. I suppose with everything in lockdown what else would these meath lads be upto except rolling over and having their bellies tickled by the dubs. ulsterrules (Donegal) - Posts: 259 - 21/11/2020 19:24:18 2312154 Link 5 |
High press killing Meath, the Dubs just breaking lines or kicking and fielding every time acres of space in behind. TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4445 - 21/11/2020 19:27:49 2312157 Link 2 |

At school, playing football at break the younger boys would have asked, " can we play" . This reminds me of it. Saynothing (Tyrone) - Posts: 2011 - 21/11/2020 19:32:32 2312159 Link 2 |
This is the first proper look I've had at Meath for a while and jaysus lads is there any kickout strategy at all. Very little movement and even when the kickout is done, they are high hanging ones. The Dubs eat that stuff up no bother. JoeSoap (Donegal) - Posts: 1432 - 21/11/2020 19:33:09 2312160 Link 0 |
Dublin are savage but jesus christ Meath haven't laid a hand on them. Shame. lilylanger (Kildare) - Posts: 758 - 21/11/2020 19:34:24 2312161 Link 0 |
Will someone step in and call a halt to this. This is on before the watershed. There are children watching. catch22 (USA) - Posts: 2148 - 21/11/2020 19:35:16 2312163 Link 2 |
Men against boys. Dublin could win this with 10 players. Meath look ridiculously naive. Hopefully Dublin get a game from someone outside Leinster SaffronDon (Antrim) - Posts: 2385 - 21/11/2020 19:36:36 2312166 Link 0 |
Well that was interesting for about 5mins. Any Netflix recommendations? yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11229 - 21/11/2020 19:38:02 2312170 Link 1 |
It's over by half time, pity I was hoping it would be closer, Dublin are just way ahead of everyone else. 10 Leinsters and 6 in a row Sam Maguires on the way.

the high press is suffocating but you need a kickout and you need cool heads when you get possession. Very very disappointed in Meath in that first half, obviously the Dubs looking supreme and excellent but dhia sabháil

The nightmare scenario. Im mortified. I honestly couldn't see this happening. I hope for the confidence of the Meath team and for the province of Leinster at large, that they can put up a few scores in the second half. Worse than 2019. Stay classy.

This is very sad to watch. Brogan summed it up beforehand when he said that Dublin would have to be professional & that is exactly what we are seeing. Very difficult for amateur teams to compete. greysoil (Monaghan) - Posts: 965 - 21/11/2020 19:41:41 2312178 Link 2 |

Dublin have been outrageous there first half. Exceptional. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 21/11/2020 19:42:50 2312183 Link 1 |
Well that half didn't go as I hoped. But sometimes you got to admire the sheer brilliance of this Dublin team. They are bloody fantastic. I do repeat while this Meath team are very young. There not a bad team. But they have been made look absolutely lost. Like a deer in the headlights. Hoping for a better second half but I'm not overly optimistic royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 21/11/2020 19:42:54 2312184 Link 0 |
We may have finally reached the point where even the most blinkered set of supporters in the land realise how perverse the advantage Dublin GAA is at. This is a disgrace on any sporting level. Daith (Kildare) - Posts: 1171 - 21/11/2020 19:43:12 2312185 Link 12 |
