Would you rather your county won 5 in a row or have the most all ireland wins, by a good bit! Me personally would rather more all irelands

Having watched my county create history was something special.

Going on the greatest unbeaten record ever seen too across those years, smashing other records along the way.

Just ridiculous.

I wasn't alive for the vast portion of my counties previous achievements

I'm very privileged to witness what I have as a fan and experience something that had never existed before it.

Every kick of a ball by a Dublin player this year is completely unique.

It's a pity that the 6 in a row quest had to be tarnished but at least the 5 in a row was something we got to experience. Very privileged and tbh I don't think yiz quite get it.. but why would you?

To witness the team you support achieve the ultimate.. is a very rare thing in sports.

It's a feeling of satisfaction not shared by many

5 in a row is an amazing thing, Jim explained it eloquently, its very hard to describe unless you've done it and experienced it. Everything else just seems so much less. All through the front door and the unbeaten record in the Championship is incredible. I look at as huge a reward to the work and effort put in.

I look at winning, a bit differently to be honest, its about how you win and i think you stick to values and philosophy, win or loose, it makes it so much more pleasurable. One of the pleasing things about Dublins success was the fruition of the growth of the game and the investment in youth in and across the county, the culmination of over 20 years work. Thats the huge pay off to me, everything else is just a number and a legacy.

Its wining with dignity and humility and not really caring about what others do. If we wern't to win this year i wouldn't really mind as i think the real value to our success is the structures we have in place that will support us over time, the growth of the game, the growth of Dublin's profile and the great legacy of this team. I hope when we loose and there is a bullet in the post, we do that with as much dignity as we have in winning, im sure we will and look to our own. Fear nobody respect everyone, its our way.

The only thing in my eye line is the growth of the game in Dublin, the civic benefits and opportunities for our community. When the chips are down and they will be, we look to our own and try our best to compete, either way we will be there. Congratulate those that get th best of us. Bit not be worried by what others do. Everything else is just numbers really.

With an eye on this year championship, i dont think it stacks up to previous years myself in terms of achievement, even if the Dub5 were to win it id look at it as about 5.25. A four/5 game championship just doesn't equate to a modern all Ireland championship or the last few years, but we persevere with what we have.

I guess it's a personal thing really. For me as a Kerryman I'd prefer to have most all Irelands but if I was from Dublin maybe I'd prefer 5 in a row. When I was a young boy I witnessed Kerry do 4 in a row and Kerry became the first county to do 4 in a row twice so that was special but to me I wanted to stay top of the tree for titles more than anything. I was devastated when Offaly beat us but accept it now. Ironically a lot of that Kerry team said it was propably a good thing to lose the 5 in a row as they reckoned they would nt have won another 3 in a row afterwards so obviously the titles meant more to them. This is just my opinion and maybe unbeknown to myself I'm jealous of Dublin brilliant achievement of 5 in a row. I must add though that winning is a wonderful feeling but to lose after many wins is very hard. When Dublin lose it will hit them very hard cos they so used to victory. I've been on both sides. Also of course Dublin Kerry Cork Tipp Kilkenny Tyrone Donegal Limerick Galway etc are all priveledged to have won all ireland but yes I'm sure the feeling of relief and pure ecstacy for a county like Monaghan to win would be fab and of course Mayo whose fans deserve that winning feeling someday soon. I've been lucky enough to see my county win many all Irelands but also privileged too see Donegal Armagh Tyrone and Derry win their 1st all reland s too. All very special. So basically the answer to the question is whatever suits the individual. For the Dubs it's the 5 in a row For Kerry it's the amount of titles but for Mayo Monaghan etc right now the next all ireland would be best.

I think I'd rather be the county that is synonymous with the sport and has dominated it for 120 odd years rather than the one whose current unprecedented success and the means behind it is the subject to prime time specials and hundreds of pages of investigate journalism...

I don't think we'll see 5 in a row for a very long time,things are balancing out again, Kerry Tyrone Galway Mayo Donegal are contenders again as I think Dublin aren't as strong as they were a few years ago, but it will take a very good team playing their best football to beat Dublin,
I think I'd rather Donegal had the most All Irelands rather than 5 in a row, we have a wee bit of catching up to do though!!
