Post of the year! Brilliant!

Has to be David Clifford. The most naturally talented footballer in the country and he is also one tough son of a gun. Anybody would pay good money to see him in action in Croker on a warm summer's evening.

Its a free country lad and as such it gives you the right to think whatever you wish even if you're wrong - that's the great paradox about democracy.

Hate to say it but Ollie Murphy on his day. Broke our hearts a few times. Meath midfield and half forwards used kick diagonal ball into him to run into. Great at taking points on run or turning back and kicking over his shoulder without looking at the posts.

Recent HBs: Dr Jack, James McCarthy, Peter Harte
Past HBs: Kieran McGeeney, Tomas O Se, Seamus Moynihan, Anthony Rainbow
Recent MFs: Brian Fenton
Past MFs: Jacko, Kevin Walsh, Demot Earley, Anthony Tohill, Teddy McCarthy, Darragh O'Se
Recent HFs: Paul Flynn, Shane Walsh, Dermo C
Past HFs: Pat Spillane, Brian Dooher, Alan Brogan, Declan O'Sullivan, Michael Donnellan, Brian McGuigan, Ogie Moran

Would be a nice panel to have. Easier to think of forwards. Brian Fenton is out on his own imo... has no genuine peer at midfield right now.

Strange that you're on here and also finding the time to be on YouTube given what you said your profession was recently - I thought you'd be rather busy :D

Hands are weeping blood especially around the knuckles, from washing and trying, thanks for asking.

I look forward to your continued esteem and appreciation for health care professionals.

Enjoy Netflix.

Declan Browne, simply outstanding, had he been playing for one of the top county teams we would be talking about him as the probably the best forward of all time. of the present day lads Conor McManus has always been top drawer.

1st Runners up: Michael Murphy, Eoghan Ban Gallagher, Paddy Durcan, Rory Deane, Jamie Clarke, Jarlaith Og Burns, Connor Cox.

Second: Colm Boyle, immense respect for the man as a player and a character, that was even before our recent game in Castlebar andseeing him try to play after suffering a cruciate injury, what a warrior. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

First: If I had to call player of the year right now, has to be Shane Walsh, absolute wizard this spring with so much innate skill and dimensions to his game. Hitting Connolly levels of supreme skill. Was really looking forward to seeing him close up in Salthill, but not to be I think. Hopefully he gets to show his wears this summer. Doesn't get the hype others do but really should. He will be happy enough going under the radar though.

Past player: Big statement and rarely in the conversation but for me Matty Forde is one of the greatest players ever. Doesn't get the press that a player from say Dublin would get, but a truly majestic talent to rival any other county's best.
