Hard fought wins for Linerick and Carlow both reduced to 14 men. Carlow lost Broderick very early.
There could be a few surprises in this league. Wicklow had chances but wasted them . This was a real banana skin possibility for Carlow but scraped through and get the start they need . A long way to go

After week one all the favourites (in my book anyway) won their tie. Next week will be interesting to see how Antrim fare against Sligo, or can Wexford rebound against Carlow. Antrim is a difficult place to go to get a result so Paul Galvin will need to get something this weekend, failing that I can see their challenge peter out. It will be interesting to see if Sligo are the real deal or did they get London on a poor day. This head-to-head will tell us something. I would expect home advantage to count for both Limerick and Wicklow in their fixtures, although the Garden county should, but didn't beat 14 man Carlow, so questions linger about them.

One thing about Div 4 is any side can beat the other on a given day and there will be the odd slip up along the way. Head-to-head could come into it yet.

A bit of both for Sligo. London made a load of errors but Sligo played well and punished them for it. Tougher challenges ahead though.

Great start for Limerick. Adrian Enright and Danny Neville playing great stuff this year.

Conceded 5 goals. Enough said.

I see this division going down to the wire. Way to early for predictions but anyone who lost the first day out really have to win this weekend to keep themselves in the race. The stand out fixture of the round is Sligo vs Antrim.

Bad day for them. Sligo have had plenty themselves so I wouldn't be so cocky.

Another result dogged out yesterday. With Carlow losing the odds are stacked in our favour.
