There's nothing honest about making up misinformation about amateur players.

I'd generally be in favour of it as long as it committed to correctly by both organisations. The Australians committed to it very well the last time with a lot of their best players involved. Nat fyffe (2 time player of the year there) was a privilege to watch. What a gaelic footballer he'd make. Their fist passing ability is something really to admire, something gaelic teams could look at. I think they use the space on the pitch a bit better, using the wing more. At the last match in Ireland they did that push up on the kick outs leaving Ireland players unmarked. Kerry adopted a similar tactic in the first match against Dublin. There is plenty to learn from them.

It was also great to see how good conor mcmanus is, some of the overs (points) he got in the last series against Australia were exceptional. Great to see Gary brennan doing well and in a previous era the likes of Leighton Glynn. The last time the ireland team were down all the Dublin players and other club tied players and australia were comfortable enough in winning. To my very first point if both codes commit with the best players involved I'd happily support it.

You're confusing the act of preparing to play like a professional to that of being paid to play as a professional. They're two separate things. They 5 in a row champs are the former. Do keep up bud!

How do dublin spend the second highest amount of money in the country on their teams every year considering they don't have to leave their own county to play their games?

I would leave as is. It is an All-Ireland team and if you have it where it is the winners of Sam Maguire who represent Ireland then you are in effect removing the chance of the honour for most Counties ever again. The Compromise Rules requires a certain type of player and there are guys from the lower ranked Counties who are ideal for it - probably more so than a lot of any AI winning squad are. And with this in mind you would be handing the advantage to the Australian team in my opinion as they will be a team of guys who are chosen from all over Australia and are used to the tackling etc, coming up against a squad from one County who may have a number of players who aren't suited.

First of all what figure are you quoting?

Because Dublin are competing at the highest level at every grade in both codes.

True dual county at every grade boys/girls/mem/women. It simply can't be done on a shoe string.

Many Dub teams tavelling NSEW every year at a high levek looking to achieve across all grades

Dublin GAA doesn't travel? Ehhmm ok.. doesn't have to budget for travel expenses.

Whatever you say.. lol

What is your opinion on players leaving their jobs in order to concentrate on playing for their county?

I've never heard of any Dublin player doing this but have heard of a number of other counties players doing this.

All Dublin players have jobs or are studying, mainly the former at the moment actually.

Either back up your claim, and name the players that are being paid to play for Dublin as you are suggesting, or else move onto one of your many other complaints about Dublin GAA.

If you ignore this post you're just as disingenuous as your posts seem to make you out to be, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and it'll be interesting to hear what Dublin players, according to you, are being paid to play for Dublin as I would have thought none of them were.

My god its nearly December and KingdomBoy1 is still spouting the same rubbish on every thread. Seriously this isn't even borderline obsession, this is full-blown full-time obsession. Honest to god and I'm not joking saying this but he should get help. Obsessing about any one thing cant be healthy.

I hear it from the majority of the dublin people who come down here on their holidays that none of the dublin footballers work during the championship,

Yes the dubs players have jobs but the dublin county board pickup the tab while they're concentrating on their football for 3 months of the summer.

We also have teams playing football hurling and camogie jim , the level at which they play at has nothing to do with how much we have to spend on sending them around the country for games as petrol and diesel cost pretty much the same all over the island.

Ye don't have to spend anything on yer senior footballers as they don't have to travel compared to the rest of the country.

So just to get this straight, what you are saying is that Dublin players en masse, leave their jobs every summer, and that the Dublin County Board pays them over the summer, and that the Dublin players are then given their jobs back once the Championship is over?

Do you not realise how utterly ridiculous and completely unworkable that is?

It is so obviously untrue that it is amazing that any one would actually believe that but somehow you have.

Such nonsense

A complete and utter dishonest individual and an outright spoofer

Although let's be honest he fits right into the Kerry GAA mantra

Famous for being dishonest in Irish sporting circles
