super game of football.I think everyone will agree it was one of the most entertaining games of football this year.Dreadnots have a great young team and could hold there own very well in senior football.na piarsigh asl are a good outfit and will be possible contenders for next years championship! mark (Louth) - Posts: 76 - 08/10/2008 21:05:48 115762 Link 0 |

I have to agree the game had an exciting conclusion but I'm not so sure about the quality. I thought the pace of the game was very slow in comparison to finals I've seen in other counties this year. There was some definite quality on show with young Califf and the Na Parsaigh corner forward(not sure of his name) but overall I just thought it lacked something. cuchulainn1 (Louth) - Posts: 246 - 09/10/2008 09:06:50 115919 Link 0 |

I agree with Mark - and thought it was a great game from the neutrals perspective particullarly the first half when the lead swung between the two teams on several cassions. Also I think that Dreadnots got all but 2 scores from play which is great to see . It is not that that we see 3 goals and 22 points scored in a final and only two yellow cards issued throughout e game. So it certainly gets my vote as one of the best games of th eyear and I hope that sundays game with Dunleer and Nicks will be equally entertaining . Well done to the two teams concened gaelgoir (Louth) - Posts: 240 - 09/10/2008 14:39:19 116368 Link 0 |

Is it true that two of the Dreadnots players who played in the final had serious health problems. Hogan1 (Louth) - Posts: 12 - 10/10/2008 10:35:35 116853 Link 0 |
