Does anyone know the date and venue for the IFC final? Ardee would be ideal location.

It's in Ardee the week after the Senior Final I think.

Does anyone know for sure when the IFC final is on and where? It seems crazy that if the final is on 5th October that official notification has not been issued and venue confirmed.

Down with all the naysayers, na piarsaigh have arrived and with all the guile and steel of a bird of prey will pounce mercilessly on the quarry that is the intermediate footabll championship. the team oozes class this year edified with a work ethic previously unseen in a na piarsaigh tem by its wily mentors messrs Shields and Craven. the commitment shown by these two seasoned campaigners illustrates a stoic and remorseless hunger for success which has been imbued upon the masses within the club. Not to misprize the Dreadnots but i believe na piarsaigh will have too much in reserve for the men from the country and i believe we will emerge triumphant to the vociferous acclaim of all and sundry, Na piarsaigh Abu!!

Gammonsteak, you are obviously a dreadnots fan trying to talk up na piarsaigh, I can't beleive any real na pairsaigh supporter would post that tripe. Fact is that na piarsaigh have done really well to get to the final and while its going to be 50/50 who wins, dreadnots have to be favourites based on the fact they in final last year and were senior recently.

RobK. Just being reading some of the messsage boards and you seem to think you know it all. I heard you are a sub on the plunketts junior team so I think its time you give it a break and start writing about things at your own level. Leave the intermediate comments to the lads thats benn there done that.

Gammonsteak you seem very confident in fact one might think your of the opinion its only a matter of turning up,dreadnots are there on merit,i think both sides are very evenly matched, you may write the dreadnots off at your peril!!!

Nice first post mn,
so you reckon you need to be a good footballer to know about the game? I've never once claimed to be a good footballer however I do feel I have a good knowledge of the game and use to this message board to share opininons and have rational debate. Now you've come on here and decided to have a go at me in particular. Could it possibly be that you also have a different username and have had disagreements with me in the past??? All I will say to you is get a life, if you want to have a go at me at least have the courage to show who you are instead of hiding behind your computer screen.
On a side note if you look through any of my posts you will see that any of my points are pretty sensible and are backed up by facts.
Also the GAA is about more than playing. It's about getting involved with your local community and club and offering something, I think your argument is pretty pathethic and doesn't really fit in with the ethos of the GAA.

mn,
Why no reply???? Gone to your cronies looking for more stories about me??? You's are a pretty sad lot if you've nothing better to do than be talking about someone like me. Do you's not have more pressing matters at the minute like clearing up the Minor manager disaster and begging them Minors to come back and play for their County??

Who do people fancy for this one? I have to say Na Piarsaigh.Been very impressive everytime ive seen them in the past 2 years. In saying that Dreadnots are a good outfit with a nice mix of youth and experience with Smith and Lynch and Kelly to play his part also. They will be keen not to lose back to back finals they just never got going last year. Id will be close Na Piarsaigh by a goal I reckon.

Gammonsteak you obviously get Dictionary.com's word of the day - ha ha!

Anyway I'll go for the Dreadnots by 1.

Should be a great game.

I think this has the makings of a cracker (Hope I don't put the splaws on it now). Both teams I would say are very evenly matched however Na Piarsaigh would be favourites in my book as their form is rock solid coming into this game. The Dreadnots have a lot of experience of this stage of the championship and will not want to get beaten in another decider, anybodies guess really but on semi-final form you would have to say Na Piarsaigh to shade it, but who knows!!

At last venue confirmed as Ardee. Regardless of Na Piarsaighs form to date, Dreadnots have to be clear favourites, 4 IFC finals in last 10 years, including last year and senior as recenlty as 2006. You can't bottle that experience and whilst Na Piarsaigh are a good team they are too young and dont have the experience needed, I cant see the Dreadnots falling to them.

heard that Lynch is definitely out for dreads. they will miss his pace badly. Na piarsaigh may have to much pace for them but they are unpredicatable so I guess its all down to performance on the day. Listening to kelly talking on the radio there is 8 to 9 of his startying 15 this year under 21 so most of them have no experience of big occassions and regardl;es of teh clubs hsitory of appearances the occassion may get to them.. On his day PEPI can be a match winner and Kelly himself is a man fo the big occassion. Dont kno wmuch abt Na Piarsaigh but their record is impressive this year. Should be a good game

Yes, sure Malone, Nash, Callan and Molloy are definitely out for Na Piarsaigh, they are that stuck for players the managers are thinking of playing themselves!!!
