Fair point re. today. Only looking back over the match did I realise he scored 5 points. Silent assasin.

I still wouldn't put him in the top 5 nationally though.

I haven't seen enough of Paddy Durcan this year as I don't have Sky!!

Excellent yesterday and for a few years.

No he is not. Cathal Mc Shane is every bit as good.

Con O' Callaghan is lethal. Probably more likely to destroy an opposing team than Clifford. Kerry will fear him in final.

Michael Murphy is the best footballer in the country. Second is Con O Callaghan.

For me it has to be Fenton followed by Murphy, Callaghan, Keegan, Mannion and Clifford

Clifford has an average enough first half today. I do think he is one of the best players right now & has a lot more to give. If he was part of a professional Gaelic football team, he would be the best right now but because he is part of an amateur team, he has a few years yet to go.

Yep 100% agree. ConO'C is incredible. Him v Clifford for the next decade I hope. Hope neither get injured. Think OC is realising his potential and at a slightly better level than Clifford but Clifford has slightly more potential. Certainly Clifford is the most stylish for me.

My no.1 transfer though remains Murphy

Look at the 2 teams that o'callaghan and Clifford are playing on, o'callaghan slips into a Dublin team that had won 4 out of the previous 6 allirelands and Clifford comes into carry a Kerry team that had lost the best players of the noughties.

Plus Clifford is 2 years younger, could ye imagine if Clifford could have been introduced on to a team like Dublin where you can make a mistake and it doesn't get shown up.

Clifford is a joy to watch and, like all top quality players, attracts unfair 'attention' from the opposition. O'Callaghan and Murphy are also quality players. Enjoy them (if they are not playing against your team) and don't worry trying to decide who is the best

I would have Durcan as one of the top players in the country. For what he brings to the team as a defender and his ability to get into a scoring position and his consistency, his shooting can let him down though. Drops alot of balls short.

But skill wise its COC for me, hes lethal. Might only touch the ball 3 or 4 times because he's so tightly marked but will score or assist everytime.

Keegan shouldn't of been marking him, Keegan is good at tracking players and then bursting 4ward breaking lines, but no good being stationed in full back line. Didn't do well against Quinlivan either. Barrett should of been on Con, probably wouldn't of made a difference though.

But the GAA is an amateur organisation. There are no professional teams. How could you be a doctor, or a teacher, or a businessman and player GAA to earn a living. Sorry but you need to check your facts.

Maybe I'm being biased but for me Connolly is the most naturally gifted player i have ever seen. Not saying hes the most consistent, and of course hes not playing much lately. But in terms of raw natural ability hes the best ever.... IMO."
Saw him playing for his club v Slaughtneil couple of years ago. C McKaigue snuffed him out entire game"
Was it a friendly? Clifford hasn't won a Munster club title which would be required to play teams outside your province
