They did miss alot but Limerick ate Tipperary alive. That was an obliteration. Tipp may have better wrists but they couldn't compete. They looked old

Totally agree. Leinster has failed to ignite this year, and all the remaining teams are some distance behind Tipp and Limerick. My money is on Limerick; they must be nailed-on favorites at this stage.

5 weeks to Limerick's next game...that is a big disadvantage. Hard to call an All Ireland winner as any team can beat the other on a given day. Rockies (Cork) - Posts: 947 - 30/06/2019 16:28:10 2202961 Link 0 |

Limerick by far the better team, if their finishing was a bit better they would have won Barnowl94 (Galway) - Posts: 3150 - 30/06/2019 17:56:22 2203018 Link 1 |

Lumerick will do what Galway failed to do last year.......they are even good enough to do a treble.. Rayo1 (Galway) - Posts: 140 - 30/06/2019 18:53:06 2203053 Link 0 |
Proper hurling team, Limerick showed power, skill and class, Tipp never showed and it is a continual problem they have to address. Limerick deserved champions. Jedobi (Wexford) - Posts: 143 - 30/06/2019 19:14:46 2203066 Link 1 |
If such a horrible dangerous tackle like the one Ronan Maher put in on the limerick forward today was in the football there would be absolute uproar on here. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13650 - 30/06/2019 19:32:26 2203076 Link 4 |
Should get a ban for that. Vicious and premeditated

To be honest, I've just seen it. Was at the match and couldn't see what happened at the time. It was a horrible tackle ..took Casey out completely. Whats the point of having linesmen if they can't inform the ref.. Should have been a straight red. Thuggery out of Maher. skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1064 - 30/06/2019 19:39:08 2203085 Link 1 |
There should be uproar that such a blatant dangerous tackle wasn't noticed by the ref or by any of the other match officials and went unpunished.I presume Ronan Maher can be sanctioned retrospectively by the Gaa as the referee didn't deal with the incident during the match.

Only because in the majority of games of football ( particularly in Leinster ) there would be virtually nothing else to talk about apart from a hit. Plenty of other talking points in a good weekend of Hurling.

Why are you still posting nonsense? Galway have gone home for the summer and by your posts you arent a general hurling fan.

Limerick looked great today Im just happy the team I support in the Munster Championship won. Also very happy we cant play them in the semi final! I think wed have every chance against the other 6 remaining counties even if we are still the underdogs...... Viking66 (Wexford) - Posts: 11918 - 30/06/2019 19:52:02 2203092 Link 0 |
