100% correct predictions. What would the odds be if I had a bet on the games.

Can somebody explain how Castlebar v Knockmore and Breaffy v Ballina was both played in Castlebar, that venue can't be classed as 'neutral' venues as both Castlebar and Breaffy are Castlebar teams, ok Breaffy is a mile away but are still within the town limits, also I heard that the ref for the Belmullet v Ballintubber match had a very poor game, Belmullet couldn't win a free and a lot of soft decisions went in Ballintubber's favour, do the big teams in Mayo get an advantage in matches, based on weekend venues and ref performance it's hard to disagree with that argument riverboys (Mayo) - Posts: 1389 - 23/09/2019 13:09:40 2238502 Link 0 |
Obviously "sinabhuile" is a better tipster than "Tommy 132". Brinsley Swartz (Mayo) - Posts: 2225 - 23/09/2019 17:20:31 2238597 Link 0 |
I was at the tubber - belmullet game and the ref was shocking for both teams. He gave Cillian o Connor and Michael plunkett early yellows for nothing and black carded Brian Walsh when the belmullet player pulled him down. It was shocking. Belmullet can have no complaints when it comes to the Ref. They kicked some poor wides and gave the ball away too easy at times. don492 (Mayo) - Posts: 165 - 23/09/2019 17:22:40 2238599 Link 0 |
Hoping to attend the 4 semi finals this weekend. The intermediate games in particular could go either way. Weather could play a big part too. Louisburgh and Burrishoole are big strong powerful teams who would be suited by a dirty day. The Neale and ballyhaunis are more footballing teams who would prefer a dry with no wind day. Senior games are interesting too, Ballina are absolutely flying it, they've been very impressive. The likes of Irwin, O Hora, Treacy, O Mahony all excellent. Match ups and midfield will be key in that game. Tubber midfield very strong. Tight game. Mitchels Ballagh could be a tighter then expected game. Mitchels haven't got going at all this year imo. Quite lacklustre against Knockmore and only really got going when they moved Durcan into midfield. Ballagh have impressed this year but beating Davitts really doesn't say much. Midfield is strong but they will need Andy Moran, Kuba, Hanley, Drake, Akram all on top form. Hopefully the weather isn't bad and take away from the games too. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Great analysis indeed. That's one career over thankfully.
