Looking like moy davits favourite for relegation now.

Lots of teams futures going down to the last group game which shows how similar most of the senior teams are this year.

Breaffy, Tubber Castlebar out on their own but not streets ahead.

Then Ballagh, Knockmore, Ballina, Westport, Aghamore, Garrymore, Hollymount, Belmmulet, Claremorris.

Kiltane v davits for a place in the 1/4 finals is a tasty fixture.

Cracker of an all Ireland final. Fair play to both teams. Look forward to the replay. My mind quickly moves towards the club champo at the weekend. Predictions below.
Senior championship
Breaffy v Moy Davitts
The nod obviously goes to Breaffy here. Ideal game for them to not have to use AOS again if they don't want to and perhaps rest SOS. More games into Ruane leg the better. Irwin and Conor O Shea could have a field day. Moy Davitts look likely for relegation.

Kiltane v Davitts
Will give the nod to Davitts. Brilliant win against Moy. Have some good attacking talent in the likes Ronane, Kearns, Hennelly and then the ever green McNamara in midfield. Kiltane troubled Breaffy in the first half but the horrible injury to Gaughan effected them. Add in the fact that their keeper went off also I think Davitts have all the momentum.

Ballina v Westport
Pretty much a Knockout game in a hugely competitive group. Ballina have improved greatly last year, which is to be expected with the inter county contingent. Hard game to call. Will give the nod to Westport. Will have Colm Moran who only came on as a sub back and think last year will stand to them. A draw wouldn't surprise me.

Mitchels v Aghamore
Mitchels juggernaut to keep on rolling. Aghamore a good team and will always push for a QF place but probably a middle of the road team. Flew Freeman back from Dubai for the last round.

Garrymore v Ballintubber
Garrymore won't be making the QF this year. Tubber to win a tight enough game in Ballinrobe

Knockmore v Hollymount.
Pretty much a Knockout game. Hollymount surprised me last round getting a draw v Garrymore. Knockmore going well all year and probably a level just below the top 3. Knockmore to win by 4 or 5.

Charlestown to beat Claremorris
Ballagh to beat Belmullet. (Group decided already)

Senior championship
Breaffy v Moy Davitts
Breaffy, Tighter than people think tho, breaffy will rest a lot I'd imagine and try and give fringe lads a competitive game, squad will be key over next couple of weeks!! Moy Davitts need to show a bit of fight, a youngish Davitts team bar a couple of old heads bullied them off the pitch! Reape needs a big display too, was V quiet last day out

Kiltane v Davitts
Davitts but just...... Momentum is key, If they start like they did vs Moy Davitts it will go a long way to deciding a game!! McNamara is key for Davitts, his aerial domination and long range free taking is immense. Boyle adds so much to them in organisation and grit, different team with him on the pitch. Curtailing Sweeney Corrigan and Conroy is the big one for Davitts but stopping the supply might be easier option

Ballina v Westport
Westport. Keegan and Co to deliver a big performance. Could be game of the weekend!! Two exciting teams going in the right direction. I'll be heading to this double header myself in McHale

Mitchels v Aghamore
Mitchels are a class above all bar Breaffy & Tubber atm. They will win this one. Aghamore though are a bit like Davitts the come out fighting when most needed and will put in a performance. If they fall into relegation they will also put in a performance and pull through

Garrymore v Ballintubber
Garrymore won't go out without a bite. Expect this to be tight and the South Mayo side could just edge it. Im calling a draw tho. Tubber will rest a few too id imagine

Knockmore v Hollymount/Carramore
Knockmore and by a good bit too. They'll be upset they dint surprise Tubber. Expect a big performance from them. H/C will have to contend with relegation bar a surprise but above all teams they wont go down easy as they showed in Garrymore, which they now prob look at as an opportunity missed.

Charlestown v Claremorris
Charlestown. Morris are all over the place according to reports. Could fear for them as relegation battles arent about talent they are about grit/ determination and desire. Claremorris have an abundance of talent but if they fall into that relegation battle they could be in trouble. This maybe their best chance of a route out at the minute. Their over reliance on Shaughnessy is a killer for them

Ballagh vs Belmullet

Belmullet to top the group. Were an outrageous price vs CMorris and are the same again. When you delve through their team there is talent everywhere. Could surprise a big gun down the line

Ballina v Breaffy. Very tough one to call. Breaffy will go in as favorites but Ballina with all their mayo players back are a decent side. Wont be more than a few points in this. I'll put my neck on the line and say ballina by 1.

Knockmore v Castlebar. Repeat of the final from a few years back although both teams much changed. Castlebar not the side they were but still have a long list of multi county title winners. Knockmore for their part have looked good this year but struggled against an average Hollymount, although they did show considerable fight in the end. Knockmore to cause a shock by 2

Ballintubber v Belmullet. Should be the most straightforward of the 4 games. Belmullet have had a fantastic year in their first venture into senior but Ballintubber are far too cute and strong for them. Ballintubber by 10

Ballagh v Davitts. Both teams will feel this is the best draw they could have hoped for. Davitts were favorites for relegation so are in serious bonus territory. Ballagh played in patches last week in Belmullet and cant be so wasteful if they are to advance. I have a sneeky suspicion Davitts will continue to ride their momentum and secure a stunning semi final spot. Davitts by 1
