Hi all, for a bit of fun I've decided to set up a prediction thread for the upcoming allianz hurling leagues. Discussion thread this way --> http://hoganstand.com/Forum/Details/106733?Latest=1#Latest Same rules as last year apply: I will post up the fixtures for the coming weekend and you need to predict the result of each of these games. You must also post your predictions on this thread before throw-in of the first game of the weekend. How to score: 2 points for a win 5 points for a draw (The result in normal time (knock out stages) is counted. I'm very content with my picks whether they won or lost EXCEPT the Kilkenny vs Cork match. Every time I pick against KK I lose. I don't know what I was thinking picking against Cody. I expected Waterford to beat Offaly but not by 27 points!!! I was happy to see Carlow be competitive against Dublin. Their hard work is paying off in Carlow. Tipp look like they're back. I'd have Tipp as slight favourites as they have been training a little bit more than us and our shooting radar is off at the moment. I like Morris in the corner for Tipp but I wouldn't swap him for Gillane or Casey just yet. Still should be a good contest. The ham sandwiches are itching to get a crack off Limerick.
