I think we are seeing the ideal run up to the drive for five. A low key and ultimately unsuccessful league killed the hype! The Leinster Championship and its lack of television coverage has kept the entire buildup as low key. The Leinster final is against Meath and hopefully it means the rebirth of an oldschool revival.

Am i right in thinking we cant get Mayo or Galway as the Rossies already played them.

Donegal should be in the other group.

Could be Cork, Cavan, Monghan, Tyrone who look the most likely to me.

Feels a bit the same as last year if The Rossies and Tyrone. Wouldnt mind Monagahan in Clones, we owe them one there.

Please god we don't get Tyrone away again we've done that trip already , Donegal away would be epic or Mayo in Castlebar would be fun.

Its not my favorite away day at all.

Odds on at the moment we will be away against Donegal or Cavan, so Ballybofey or Breffni. But if either loose in the qualifier, as far as i can make out Tyrone and Monghan look to have the most pedigree. So that would be Healy or Clones, but you can never predict these things. Also depends how Cork do in a qualifier we could just as easy get one or the other in Croker.

Looks like we will be heading North though.

Was just looking at the fixtures, the away game is down for the Aug bank holiday weekend, nice.

Thats if im right about Galway and Mayo.

I think we can get Mayo.

I think its only provincial finalists that cant meet again in the super 8s and because Mayo and Roscommon met in the semi final, I think they can be in the same S8 group.

Good to know, like i said i wouldnt be a 100% sure, be class heading down to Castlebar would almost prefer them there then Croker.

Would you prefer mayo in castlebar over croker in the fourth round of the qualifiers, which is a real possibility if dublin lose to meath this Sunday.

Dublin would end up getting 4/5 goals against that Kerry defence.

That's certainly true. I hope the team won't be either but if we are the management needs to play a second string and rest the first 15 for the following weeks qualifiers.

Similar to a lot of other Leinster games, Dublin slow enough at the beginning and then ramp it up after half time.

James Mc injury a huge concern.

Also the profligacy in front of goal in terms of goal chances is back. It's been a hallmark of this team, they seem to take less than half the goal chances they create!
