Wonderful scenes indeed. I thought it was going down to the wire when Kerry came back from the goal but in the end it was comfortable for Dublin.
One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is the performance of the referee. I'm loath to criticize a ref as the job is near impossible. But in particular his first half performance was unbelievable. I saw him standing over Kilkenny been pulled down by Murphy and signaling Kilkenny to get up. Con o Callaghan was been pulled every time the foul on him in penalty area was same as coppers penalty in first game. I could go on I got the impression Dublin were going to get nothing in 1 st half and Kerry were given frees fairly soft. Second half he wasn't as biased but made some bad decisions one in particular in our favor. I don't know the reason of the bias in the 1 st half in the end it didn't mean a whole lot with a comfortable win.

What a privilege to be a Dublin fan in these amazing times. The euphoria on the hill Saturday night will stay with me forever. It'll take some time for all of this to sink in. I've slept like a log since winning because I've been tossing and turning for months worrying about the 5. I hope Cluxton gets player of the year, consistently brilliant for us. Na DUBS ABU

I thought the atmosphere on the Hill was amazing. We never stopped singing or roaring our team on to victory. I watched recordings of the game both RTÉ and TG4 and you could hear the wonderful atmosphere very clearly throughout.
A truly special day and the memory of a lifetime.
Beating Kerry to win a 5 in a Row made it even more special. I was as nervous as hell for the 1st game but there was just something about the replay and the way our lads were playing that convinced me that we were going to do it. I actually thought we eased up towards the end and could have found an extra gear if required. And all without Jack for half of the match. Wonderful special day. We did it. Wow...

Some kerry posters are really getting their knickers in a knot...
Calling for Dubs to be split in 3 or 4 etc etc.... no games in croke park, funding cut.... etc etc Unbelievable whinging and moaning... embarrassing really from a kerry point of view
You would think they would have enough confidence in their own panel and upcoming panels that they can beat Dublin next year and beyond, but no. Surprising considering how well kerry did this year.
Let them at it - giving me a right auld giggle reading their posts..
Onwards and upwards for us next year - the monkey is off our back and the pressure of the 5 in a Row is now gone. I think we will actually improve next year and will have some fresh talent pushing us on again.
In the meantime, I will keep smiling thinking of what we have just achieved.... FIVE IN A ROW.... ;o)

Atha Cliath Abu." If Kerry played almost all championship matches in kerry over the last 15 years, got 10 times your funding or had a 10 fold population advantage you can be fairly sure Dublin fans would do likewise.
They're people just like you, put yourself in their shoes.

Well lads/lassies, the dream came true, can it get any better? Probably not. I'm very grateful to have been around to see it. I am now, as planned, taking a sabbatical from all things social media, as I believe them to be an unnecessary distraction from real life. I wish you all good luck, even the Kerry lads :D, and I'll leave this craic to the younger generation.
Happy out and up the Dubs!!!

I have NEVER come across such sour losers. Ever.
Moan, whinge and complain. Typical Kerry folk. Not winning and then their true colours come out. Tired of all this begrudgery but it makes beating them all the sweeter.
Personally I think we have 2more All Ireland's in our team. But for now we have just WON FIVE IN A ROW AND BEAT KERRY TO DO IT. It just doesn't get any better than that.
Slan go foil - I am off the celebrate and will definitely winter well.
Keep smiling jack off _ I know All us Dubs will.

Meath have 9 times the population of Carlow and presumably their funding is much greater too. Is it not very hypocritical of you to keep harping on about a perceived Dublin slanted population and funding advantage when you yourself promote a Meath one? Should Meath not be split also? I mean how can you on the one hand bang on about Dublin and on the other financially support this imbalance by traveling to Portlaoise? You've been very silent on Meath's advantages against these smaller counties. Why? I mean it's all relative isn't it? Just sayin.

Can't be reading all the bitter bile on the main page any more. Dublin's achievement has really bitten deeply and Kerrymen have shown themselves to be the biggest whingers of them all. They are making a show of themselves but let them at it. When Dublin eventually get beaten in the Championship ship I hope it's by any other county bar them. They have a cheek referring to Dublin as a semi-professional outfit when they've fielded AFL players like Kennelly and Walsh. Several Kerry players gave up their jobs to dedicate themselves to football. If you saw their centre of excellence out in Currans you'd know there is no shortage of money down there. I hope we really go to town on them next year.

Donaghy and O'Sullivan quit work and were full time pris for a couple of years. Still couldn't stop the Dubs. Enjoy their whinging and moaning!

If they'd been getting big funding the 15 years previous they probably would have beaten us that day. And it would have been great to see it.

I see the Dublin bashing still going on in the main page by the usual suspects. They must have nothing else to do with their time or themselves. Sad really. ;o).
Great to hear some Dublin players come out recently with a determination to keep this run going. The attempts by some to undermine their historic FIVE IN A ROW achievement is really making them more determined than ever to keep going. Great to hear.
Wagons well and truly circled.
