Is it true Kerry are going to use just 14 men the next time ?,

Would you consider James MC at fullback and C O Sullivan at 6, Most forwards had an off day maybe the tight tough marking for nearly 80 minutes will sharpen them for next time , Do you think Dean might have got a better strike on the last free from his hands / maybe he knew not to float it in case Kerry got quick ball away ? Cheers,"
I think Deano should have taken it out of his hands he could have stole a few yards. He didn't have much of a run up taking it from the deck.

Fitzy is arguably our best man marker. Cooper does a good job too but he has always been too hands on and on the edge. I would swap Fitzy on to Clifford. Get Cian to sweep in front of the FB line to cut supply to him. Put James in at 9. Let MDM loose late on and have him carry at tired legs then. Fento must have been under the weather as I've never seen him that lethargic. He should have the legs of Moran. We need to crowd the middle on Kerry kickouts and have James, Fento and Howard in there fielding. I'd be tempted to swap Scully out. A great player on the right day for a specific task but Kerry held Con, Mannion and Kilkenny. Jack isn't going to rescue our forwards with 1-3 the next day. They'll be there for the taking on Sat week. Psychologically losing against 14 men when in a win position at 70m is damaging. We need much more intensity and physicality the next day. It's there for us.

Fitzsimion's was outstanding yesterday first Geaney and then on Clifford great man marking job even Clifford's point in the second half was great defending but Clifford showed his class Fitz couldn't do much more , one negative for the goal he ran over to Walsh and let it wide open for Spillane to run in behind Walsh was too far out to cause damage and hasn't pace so Byrne would been fine on his own.

Yeah no need for the run across to cover. Looked like Spillane over-carried that ball but whatever. A great effort by Howard who busted a gut to get there and almost blocked the shot. Howard was immense in the second half. RTE gave him a 5. They're havin a giraffe with that rating.

Howard a 5 ? They were watching a different game than me. He did great work in mid field 1 st half had to drop back in 2nd. Would love to see him in mid with Fenton. Game didn't really go Mc auleys way he may be under under pressure for a starting spot next day.
Don't think Dublin will be as open next day - Kerry has plenty of chances and could have had another few goals, Clifford won't miss as many next day. Mannion didn't go well - wonder has a bit of a strain from semi final. I thought con played well won all ball going into him just wasn't enough going in!
Dublin have plenty to work on and will remain strong favorites. Usually you have to take your chance to take out the big guns. Replays can also be completely different games.

I was arguing with people on the all star thread that Howard was in the running for player of the year they weren't having any of it, Howard was unreal yesterday, Spillane did technically over carry but we won't cry like they did over kev Mac, it happened at such pace that I've no problem with their goal , great play from Spillane in fairness. Listening to all the talk about how great Kerry were they do realize we played we 14 men for the whole second half?

Aren't we suppose to cry like they do now about a Munster ref for the replay ?

Ill always remember this era for how much crying every other county did about Dublin cause you can see that this Kerry team is the future and will start winning Sam's very soon.

Was this the first time Jim was a little exposed ?
Bringing Paddy in at that time just did not work. He was the wrong player, at the wrong time. He took wrong options and wasted possessions. Paddy will be a great player, but, surely what we needed at that stage, was Kev Mc or even Bernard?

I know this won't happen, but I would go back to go forwards in 2 weeks
I would start DC, i would have Bernard on the bench
I would have Philly on from the start

Injuries will come into this yet so trying to pick a team now is futile

Ur joking liam... that's a disgrace. The bridge is my watering hole before games. Very surprised by this

No Joke Shay, a fecking disgrace is was
We were in the front part of the bar, place was packed, they wouldn't turn up the volume
I asked behind the bar and was told "in a few minutes", that was 10 minutes into the game
Spent the whole game unable to hear a thing

When we got in the door it was 3.15 and Everton Wolves was on the teles in the front bar and didnt go off until just before throw in....
I won't be back
We had intended watching it in cusacks but the women couldnt get a seat! (Jesus wept!)

Next time i am gonna play safe, watch it in Wynnes and get thrown out for profanity :)

Feel better now Jack? What's your prediction for the replay? Another landslide Dublin victory and "foregone conclusion" presumably. :). Don't give up the day job Mystic Meg.

The only thing for these pubs is don't go near them again. Murals , like they are GAA only places and then you have to deal with this.
Vote with your feet and your money.
The bottom line is Premiership is back and there's plenty who probably didn't even know who was in the AI. That's just the way it is in Dublin. A lot of places will have GAA in the bar and premiership in the lounge.
Don't know if there are any exclusively GAA bars anymore.

Me too Clon
If he is fit enough to be in the squad he should be on the team
I also would like to see Bernard back on the bench and I wouldn't be shocked if it does happen
