Yes 82,000 at the game yesterday. What would Kildare do with 20m anyway? Build robot players. If you think that money = Ciaran Kilkenny then you're living in cloud cuckoo land.

Yes poor supporters from those counties. Michael D is from the west of Ireland not West Kerry.

Amazing how these clowns seem to come from counties that are not even involved in any shape or form or are pretending to be so as to have a little whinge. Grow up would you and stop acting like a gobshite.

Dublins funding is a very touchy subject particularly with the ex Pat's down here. Why can't ye just be honest about it and admit ye are being treated "differently " to other Counties. No ones denying ye have talented players and Jim Gavin's a clever Manager. ruff1106 (Kildare) - Posts: 175 - 12/08/2019 09:15:56 2224447 Link 3 |
Oh I'm only too aware of what happened in '82. I said we're on the 'brink" not home and hosed by a long shot. And of all teams to be standing in our way, the mighty Kingdom!!

Hey Sandy Beach why not just lie back and let the blue wave just crash around you?

Well if you don't like us Sandy what the hell are you doing posting in a Dublin County forum?? Very strange behaviour. C'mon, admit it...you're a wannabe Dub. avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 1997 - 13/08/2019 10:27:44 2225041 Link 12 |
Anybody want to guess what the team selection will be for Final?? Will Philly be brought in for Clifford? Reckon the front 6 are nailed on: Kilkenny, Howard, Rock, Mannion, CON. The only possible doubt being Scully. avonali (Dublin) - Posts: 1997 - 16/08/2019 17:00:35 2226499 Link 8 |
Speak for yourself. Many genuine Gaa supporters enjoy watching this Dublin outfit in full flow easily the greatest team of all time .

Cluxton Fitzy, Copper, Philly Murch, Small, Jack Fenton, Jamsey Howard, Kilkenny, Scully Mannion, Con, Kilkenny. Harsh on Davey Byrne, but id put Philly on Clifford, he beasted him in a league game in 18. Fitzey on Geaney - Fitzy is a big game player. Controversial one but id half think of putting Murch on a man marking job on O Shea, hes a superb man marker. Jack on Stephen O Brien, make him track Jacks runs and empty the tank. Rory comes on immediately when they spring Tommy Walsh, neither have the pace they used to, but would fancy Rory to cancel him out or at least turn ball into dirty ball. It's a tricky one. I would also put Philly on Clifford but Clifford has young legs so may be necessary to swap with Cooper at some stage if Keane tells him to play out the field. Fitzy or Philly both capable of taking Geaney. It would be very harsh to drop MDM. For me has been sensational for us this year, reborn. His runs from deep are a huge weapon for us, coupled with Jack's drives. I would start Small James. Jack across that HB line. It would be tough on Cian but he's exactly what we need in the locker, can fill in at HB for James if we want to move him to the middle or can take a spot in the FB line. The big question up front for me is whether any of DC, BB or Paddy start. But I'm sure that Scully won't be dropped. He was key to the second have demolition of Mayo and is a great link player. Looking back on recent history and DC, BB and Kev Mc have all been instrumental in our victories over Kerry. Will they all get a spot on the bench? I hope so. Bernard was razor sharp in Omagh. DC's talents are not in question and is there a better ball carrier than Kev in the final third of the pitch? Selection nightmare.
