No. The issue of the Dublin-Donegal match was Dublin's possession football when comfortably in the lead and Donegal with sweepers and 15 in their own half.
What I don't understand is why you think Dublin would employ a gameplan which would suit Donegal's

When did you ever handpass the ball around like that? We gave out when you'd 15 players in your own half and imo nothing has really changed from what I seen Saturday night. Your losing the game and still all your players in their own half I'll nevrr understand that.

Read the post man, I have no problem with what Dublin did. As you say no team should be criticised for choosing a gameplan which suits them, unless of course you happen to be Donegal or Tyrone

In fairness Muck I don't think you'll ever see 15 Dublin players following the throw-in tearing it back into their own 45 to setup a wall with the 'system'. We do retract when we have to and the tactic is switched on and off as the game flows. It's a sign of a good team. You wanna play toe to toe, we'll play toe to toe. You wanna play blanket, we'll play blanket. The key is having a plan B. Tyrone came to Croker last year without a plan B. I expect that they will have more than one plan at the weekend. It should be a cracker. No matter the score, either team can still go through.

Dublin were in possession of the ball and the lead. Donegal were rigidly set up defensively to suck an attack in and break. Dublin didn't bother getting sucked in. As was the case in the semi final last year with Tyrone.

Dublin can pack a defense but to equate Dublin's tactics with Donegal or Tyrone's rigidity is a stretch.

The game more or less panned out like most of thought, Donegal would give a good account of themselves but ultimately Dublin would be too good. We got destroyed on the kickouts so had very little possesion and did well to score 16 points.

I thought Brian Howard was outstanding, what a player he is. Brian Fenton and Niall Scully were great also. The only worry for Dublin is their shooting, Killkenny and Con O'Callaghan in particular had some bad wides. Was Paddy Andrews injured, think he would be better than either of those players in terms of shooting.

As for the way Dublin played keep ball in the last 10 minutes I would have no problem with, ok its not that entertianing but you see it in a lot of other sports. Unfortunately Donegal were out of steam by that stage and couldn't chase them.

Surely this match should be replayed as Dublin had 16 men on the pitch at one stage, Jack McCaffrey didn't go off when a Dublin sub came on. It had a major effect on the game as Jack must have been on for an extra 10 seconds at least. The replay should be held in a vegetable patch somewhere in the midlands ha ha.
