me thinks that tempo club haves the right to lodge complains agianst derrygonely if they wants and if they dos then it mite save a donagh player from geting a broken jaw in finale as co board mite be able to band the harps player who cuased the injury to keenan. it wuld seem imposible for keenan to break his own jaw no matters wat others say on hear. therefore co board has a duty of cares to its players and must take actoin to disqualify harps player from playing in finale

Well said Barney!

Irrespective of the injury type the thrust of strenght had to be applied from the pubber player in order for Keenan to receive such a complex injury. Therefore, technically there is foul committed and Derrygonnelly must be punished for this. I surprised if Tempo let this go.

As for the footballer of the semi finals one should not look beyond ST Pats where this year's quality football has emerged.

how can u say because keenen got injured the 'thrust of strenght' as u call it, came from the other player?? i was not there and dont claim to be but if keenen was doing the old trick of pulling the defender on top of you to make it look like a foul the impact of the defender on him and the groung could of caused the 'complex injury' which is a very uncomplex and common fracture. yet again you fail to back up your view. oh and im speculating i wasnt ther and dont think a witchhunt is fair on a player who was probably not intending to do harm.

Personally I wouldnt say that Derrygonnelly are the underdogs, i think it is hard to put either of the teams as the favourites. St Pats have had the tougher draw and could be said better prepared but on he other hand Derrygonnelly have alot of guys with County Championship medals, experience can be a big help.
If I had to take a punt I would say Derrygonnelly by two points.

Reply to speedy12 Tempo already had a free awarded at the time of the incident, so Daryl wasnt playing for a free. He was simply trying to get free from the wrestling that derrygonnlly pass off as "marking". (its no coincidence that similar "tackling in the Tempo/D'glly league game caused a dislocated shoulder in another of Tempos young forwards, who is also out for the year as a consequence) There is a complete lack of shock about this incident in Tempo btw. Daryl gets seven shades of blue kicked out of him every game with zero protection from referees. As an example, against B'boro a certain ref turned away from the action on the ball to watch a B'boro player take Daryl out of the game. He then turned back to the game and ignored all the resulting protests (the ref in question is poor but that is for another thread.) This injury to one of Fermanagh best young talents has been coming, and the powers that be have stood back and let it happen. Referees have pre-concieved notions about an 18 year old simply because of his name, and they must shoulder the blame if he justifably decides playing for Fermanagh just isnt worth the abuse.

For god sake this is not ladies football we are talking about, get a grip! this is what is wrong in fermanagh far to soft a free's and then we get it hard against real men, take a look back at what our county team went through this year and try if you can to compaire it with club football! you cant can you? fair play to our county boys they took on the task and they showed us how football is meant to be played, it is a far cry from the school yard stuff we seen in the fermanagh championship this year so far bar donagh, which I am not from nor have I any connections, they play a nice brand of football, this whinging to the ref has got to stop and it has to start with the seniors as it is them whom our underage look up to.
I would love to see an outside ref taking on the fermanagh final, whats the chances??
Congratulations to our 5 ulster allstars, as well as the rest of the squad, these boys did not get these for crying to the ref, they got it through hard work and commitment even when marty had the cancer hanging over him, these are real men.
