2018 - John Prenty - "You've got to preserve the integrity of the competition and that's what we are doing." [attempting to justify both Galway and Roscommon playing a meaningless FBD game when both teams are already in the final].

Integrity of game negotiable it would seem. Todays dead rubber game called off due to weather and will now be rolled into the final . Common sense has prevailed.

Its still not common sense to play a pre season final in the middle of the NFL. The FBD final should have been played Friday night as McStay requested.

Hope big Kev rests the big boys in the Hyde next Sunday, Roscommon will be in the same boat after the Down game. Lads deserve a break.

Couldn't agree more. I have no idea how or why teams "peak", but as its still only February, taking this team off the boil for what's now a meaningless game, makes sense to me.

Cheers hope ye stay in D1 and ye should after the great start you have gotten off too. Very entertaining game today in bad weather conditions
