sure lads,we could all find 50 problems and point them out,but you sometimes need to look at where the criticism is coming from.does the person have the teams best interest at heart?or is he just somebody sticking the boot in?
if it is the latter?ignore it.

I agree we are a great county when we are winning but when we loose we are negative towards everyone and everything... Rome wasn't built in a day as Davy says stick with the lads we will get there

Reading the papers this week it seems there is no point in our lads showing up. I really hope they prove them all wrong and our big players find form. We beat a better Kilkenny team last year with a weaker Wexford team.

I think Fitzy has his eye on Kilkenny and a Leinster final. And that Leinster final will be very, very different to yesterday if we get there.

It will be a similar team vs Kilkenny. But with a few changes. Matty will pick up Walter anyway, that's for sure. Ryan I think will pick up Reid (which I worry about), but Cody could start Fennelly on the square - although we beat them last year Fennelly destroyed Ryan. If he does I'd say Reck will be given a man marking role on Reid. Dee and Paidi will stay wing backs. Nolan and Foley will be midfield - they are our best midfield I think. I'm unsure about all our corner backs: Firman, Reck, Donohue, Devereux. All seem to give up scores.

The forward line is a bit of a worry. Chin, McDonald and Rory O have to start. I'd put Chin at centre forward on Buckley. He's made for him. And stopping Buckley is key to beating Kilkenny. Everything goes through him. I'd also put Mac on the square and put in high ball on Walsh. Dublin did it with Rushe in there and it caused havoc for Walsh. The day Wexford put Mac on the square and give him plenty of ball is the day we can beat anyone. Rory O has been our best player all year in my opinion and can play wherever he likes.

That leaves two spots. Jacko and Morris don't inspire me always. Jacko is good under high ball but I don't know if he is good enough to justify his lack of scoring threat. Morris seems to battle away but I can't see him ever causing a good team big problems. I'd like to see us bring in Dunne anyway for one of them. He's lightning fast and wins a free whenever a back looks at him. Other than that I don't see any changes.

And don't panic. That Galway game meant nothing. Kilkenny is the one we can judge things on."
I'm telling ye lads. Don't panic.

We are improving, we had a bad result, but this next game is the big one. Lets see what happens.

I give the team my full support. I am very happy a top manager like Davy is in charge and i think by throwing in a plan B he can bring us success. I was responding to a poster who thinks the team has no skill and as hurlers are not good enough. Don't be so blinkered and always looking for someone to offend you. Read everything in context.

To be honest the big game now is not this weekend, its the quarter final. I hope I'm wrong but I think it is nigh on impossible for us to win on Saturday, 4th game in 20 days away to KK who have had 13 days off?

Dont think anyone expects us to win an All Ireland, even a Leinster, at this stage of the teams development. What you do want to see is improvement. League SF and Galway game have to be a bit worrying. What will represent real progress is getting to an all ireland semi final, I for one will be making no judgements til after a quarter final. The worst we will achieve this year is standing still, Im still v hopeful we'll reach the last 4 at least

A win Saturday would be great, but a loss is not the end of the world. Only advantage would be to get a run out in Croke Park in a Leinster final but on all known form Galway would beat us.

Truth be told, we'd be in a better position finishing 3rd having a good break (I'm assuming rightly or wrongly) we'll have enough for the Joe Mc winners or Runners up in 3rd gear, and having a massive crack at AI Quarter final which will probably be against Limerick or Cork whom we would surly fancy our chances

Hoping for a good game tomorrow, and a win, but if we loose there's no massive worry, although watch everyone throw the toys out of the pram!

Hope your right . Whatever about the result we need a big performance tomorrow. Another heavy defeat is not an option . Kilkenny are a good team but we should no longer fear them we have beaten them in Nowlan Park in recent years both in underage and senior It's a tall order however given the schedule and some lads will no doubt be carrying knocks. But I think there is a big performance in the team. Hear both stands are almost sold out so should be brilliant atmosphere tomorrow night.

The problem with that Rossy is that if we finish third and win our quarter-final we'd run straight back into Galway. Id prefer to be playing them for something (a Leinster title) and even if we lost we could only then meet in an all Ireland final. Besides all that we'd be getting valuable Croker experience. The Offaly match was important to remain in the McCarthy cup the Dublin match was important to ensure we made the quarter finals and the Kilkenny match is important for qualification for the Leinster final. In a strange way the Galway match was the least important of the lot. It did tell us where we are and we now know we have work to do still

Not necessarily true, would only come to pass if KK also came through, if they didnt we would meet the Munster champs

Wasn't too impressed with Davy's comments about fatigue, and generally making excuses. Why have a panel of 35 odd players if you're not going to use them? He knew the fixtures months ago, surely a bit of rotation for the Offaly game would have been ideal? Just showed a real lack of trust in the greater panel for me. David Dunne, Dunbar and Tomkins could have all started against Offaly and I don't think it would have weakened us, same could have been said with a couple of backs.. Just my thoughts on it, hindsight is a great thing i know..

I spent half an hour writing a post last night on my phone about this, only for it not to be published. Not bothered with this board any more, you can say nothing and what is worse I wasn't overly critical about anyone in my post.
Found another board today.

Yeah spot on, I found the exact same. What's the point in having this if you can't express an opinion?
