As far as I know, the only restriction is that there cannot be a repeat of a provincial final - so if Wexford win tomorrow, they would have to play Cork next and Tipp would play Galway. Waterford and Tipp have both played Cork already but not in a provincial final, so a Waterford win should result in a draw for the semis - can anyone confirm this? Looking at today's game,it's galway to lose ,would blow any of the remaining teams away imo.see the rebelettes are getting ahead of themselves over on. Proc.,gas men in fairness,think they are in the final already,if they win the all Ireland with that tipp tappy stuff,hurling as a physical game is finished,that said I truly believe the rebelettes have not seen the intensity of a all Ireland semi,totally different to the freedom allowed in the Munster championship..interesting few weeks ahead, Tipptipp (Tipperary) - Posts: 62 - 22/07/2017 18:13:57 2021011 Link

Am I right in saying that at some time in the past if a side had already played two teams the one you played first would be the one you would play in this situation. That would mean a Cork v Tipp semi final and of course Galway and Waterford on the other side. But of course Wexford and Waterford have to play yet. There is nobody in Cork getting carried away. Clare shot themselves in both feet! At least they tried to, with their standard of shooting they would probably have missed. Tipp nowhere near last year standards but still Scored 28 points and are back in a semi final. Great place to be with work to do, have a feeling things are starting to build nicely for Tipp, Donagh Maher was outstanding at corner back get Barry back into fullback where he belongs and Joe O Dywer, Micky Cahill or even maybe Barrett into the other corner and we will be ok. therealtmo (Tipperary) - Posts: 1292 - 23/07/2017 12:11:00 2021610 Link
Tipp in the ideal position - an unconvincing performance yesterday with a poor 10 mins late in the game and so have rom and some time to improve for the semi! After a poor enough start to championship for them, they are now a dangerous animal. Clare were so poor yesterday- they left a possible win behind them. Their short puck out strategy coughed up 3 points in the first half, they had the beating of the Tipp full back line but persisted in taking ling hopeful shots and their lack of point scoring from 40 metres was obvious. Overall they had a great chance to win the game but free taking lapses - perhaps too much time in taking the frees /? .... Missing McInerney was a blow and Clare gave the Tipp forwards an amount of room - compare the two full back lines - Tipp were all over the Clare forwards while Callinan and Bubbles had plenty of space and time to turn and have a shot. A good match which had swings and roundabouts which made it very entertaining. Tipp haven't half hurled this year and now in the last 4. Should have plenty of energy to see out two games.need to tighten up at the back and we need our strongest 15. Lad from my own club Sean o Brien came in corner back yesterday I reckon Ryan will work with what he has now. Every high ball causes consternation we need to sort that out.
