one final in 15 years, you consider that a good record then??? How many first round beatings in that time???

I believe there were 13 first round exits in the period you referred to. Not good, therefore I cannot see Rory concentrating much of his energy on that age group until he sorts the senior team out first.

Did I say it was a good record? I just said that you were factually incorrect.

No and neither did I,nobody can argue that Fermanaghs underage record over last 15 years has been shocking. Lets hope the work of Shaun Doherty begins to shine through over coming 3/4 years.

For Fermanagh senior team to develop its imperative that players experience victories at under 17/under 20 level, winning is a habit.

Im sure wont be long before preliminary panel begins the work ahead, one good point about early championship exit is can start training earlier(not that rule stops most)

Does anyone have a list of who is currently in the Fermanagh squad?

I wonder if macca stills believes in his original preference for Dom or will he sit on the fence to see how Rory's season will pan out? As for me I see little to be optimistic about having seen two of the mckenna games. The team is more than about one man and his return from the wilderness and one shouldn't build up hopes a such. Anyone agree?

I never said my preference was for Dom or anyone else,i just want a manager who is going to get the best out of the Fermanagh team. Its up to the players and management to do this, lets hope 2018 is a great year for the county team.

On a seperate note, see under 20s trials contact is Shaun Doherty,is he manager for the team this year?

I see Irvinestown's Shane Goan is the new county under 20 manager but will he have much say considering Gallagher still has first call on that age bracket?
