No need to worry Limerick and Tipp will
win. It will be a Cork and Limerick Munster final.

Its just you said Cork would be too strong for us and something similar in relation to Tipp so you are making us nervous now being confident of a Limerick win :)

I hope you are right.

I am saying I have been hugely impressed and delighted by Limerick. Cork will beat Waterford.
If Limerick play as they have been they will beat Waterford and Tipp will beat Clare.
I have been pleasantly surprised by Limerick and it's a long time since I have seen a Limerick team so united, skilful and most of all heart. To draw with Cork with 14 men was a massive achievement
and we have a big panel which is a great bonus. I have a hunch it will be Limerick and Galway in the all Ireland final.
If we don't win it this year I am certain this team will win it within 3 years.

Here we go...the bandwagon is starting to roll. All aboard the hype train..'.in Kiely we Trust' t shirts hot off the press. Wheel out the 73 team again for the umpteen time. Look i actuall love the hype but its only a distraction.
There's no certainty in top level sport. Limericks record has been disastrous in Croke Park since ambushing Waterford in 2007.. The 2014 performance was good against Kilkenny but in general Croke Park is not good for Limerick. So I would say the team is going well and has great potential.
Put it this way if Clare get over Tipperary this Sunday then it will take one heck of a performance to beat them in Ennis. I think Clare will beat Tipp but I'm wary of the Waterford match for Limerick. They deserve more respect as they have some fantastic hurlers and forwards with scintillating skills and speed. Let's leave Kiely slowly gather momentum before really derailing the team before it has had a chance to draw breath.

Limerick and Tipp will win so the Ennis match will have no meaning."

There was no ambush of Waterford in 2007. After 3 hectic matches V Tipp we had 3 chances of goals in the first ten minutes of the Munster Final and only took one, even so we were in the game with fifteen minutes to go, but Waterford understandably did overpower a tired team thereafter. However in Croke Park we did take our goal chances and the rest is history.
Finally we might have lost the All Ireland Final, but we made a hell of a better attempt at winning it than Waterford did the following year.
I do agree however that hype should be kept under control and we are not next or near Croke Park yet this year.

Replying To WhipOnTheBall:  "if Barry murphy comes in for Gillane does that mean Tom Morissey will remain on freetaking duty ? he done well last sat night on the frees and had a great game overall but he dosent fill me with confidence when taking a free .
i wouldnt be surprised to see Dowling start for this reason alone . Pat Ryan is well able to take a free or two aswell if i remember but i have every confidence in john kiely and co decision who to pick as they havent left us " Hurlers on the Ditch " down yet.
I would also like to congratulate cork on a great venue and its nice to see where our taxpayers money is being spent but couldnt they have taken the stadium out of the Hole that its in , a complete nightmare to get out of the city afterwards ."
Apologies, Whip on the Ball, you got it right - Dowling in for Flanagan. Will be interesting to see if he stake frees. Will also be interesting to see how fit and mobile he is. The condition of all players used so far this year has been superb. If Shane has moved up a notch as well, he will be real handful.

Delighted to see Nash on the bench. Himself, Pat Ryan and Barry Murphy are all excellent impact options up front.

Whilst we are a fast rising force, Déise will be dangerous as they are good and are at last chance saloon.
Another potential Munster thriller in store. Luimneach abú!

So only change is Shane Dowling at 14 and Flanagan gone to the corner.
a very Strong team... If Shane is going to play full forward is the place for him, just doesn't have the legs for further out the field..

Always been a huge fan of Shane Dowling and I must assume that he has reached his peak fitness level to have been selected by Kiely and his team , I don't believe he has been selected just for his free taking ability , in fairness Tom Morrissey was flawless in that role plus Mulcahy can also take them. So a fit Shane Dowling is an exciting addition to this team when fit he is strong and lethal in front of goal, a great opportunity for him I hope it goes well for him.
The strength and dept in this panel is frightening and I mean all the panel not just the lads on the bench and it proves anyone going well is in with a shout of being called up , we have a great mixture of old heads and new heads on this panel . Hope the younger lads can keep their cool when things get hot no more red cards please , points on the board instead.
Can't wait for throw in on Sunday it really has the potential to be a classic. One of those 70 + mins that feels like 5. Hope a big crowd turns up that bit early to support our minors they are a class outfit and are unbeaten so far they deserve the support.

Good to see Shane back. Also very happy with how JK introduced the Nap lads. They weren't able to just walk on to team(not that they expected to)but some people did.It just shows that if Ur good enough Ul get a chance which will serve the panel and Limerick hurling good. There seems to be a serious comp for places which will only push the lads that start to reach their potential.Expecting a good performance on Sunday and real pride in the Jersey.

Dowling is strong in the air. The Waterford fullback line isn't the strongest under a high ball. Perhaps kiely is targeting this and might go a bit more direct tomorrow. The Waterford halfback line is strong so perhaps we will try bypass that line more often tomorrow with more aerial ball going in to our full forward line.

Delighted to see Shane Dowling back. Has been a great servant to Limerick and NP.
Really hope it goes well for him. Its a tough ask to fit into this team now with the way they play, ie , a mile a minute.
But Shane was outstanding down in Nowlan Park last year when our backs were to the wall and damned near pulled us over the line in that game.
He is always a goal threat. Actually driving back from Cork last week we spoke about the goal chance that Pat Ryan.
Was the kind of chance Dowling thrives on..!!!

Dowling is playing in his best position
and I would say he will take the frees

He will handle the pressure alright and
he has great hands and natural ability
if he gets a chance for a goal he will bury it and any close in frees he is capable of hitting the net. He is one if the best natural hurlers we have and his inclusion
in my opinion is a great boost to us.

Would have to agree with all of that. He's a leader also, proven big game player and has played in AI semi finals.
Our age profile is so young so Dowlings going to bring plenty of experience. If our full forward line click tomorrow they'll do damage.

I agree with that. I rate him highly as a score getter and I hope that he can integrate with the style that the team are currently playing. The emergence of Gillane and Flanagan plus the rehabilitation of Mulcahy has transformed our options in the full forward line but I hope that Dowling can be a goal threat in tandem with them. Plus I think he's a phenomenal free taker which is not to denigrate the alternatives.
