You're obviously new here if you think Wayno1 needs to get to more games, and actually the last two Leinster finals were €20 for the hill and not €25 like for this year, stand tickets were also €35 up to and including the day of the game the last couple of years too I'm pretty sure and not €40 on the day like for this Sunday. If he said anything factually incorrect then I'm sure he's open to correction. Stay classy ,dude.

Sorry Mrs. Wayno1, I promise I won't pick on him anymore.

Midfield battle will be fascinating. Feely and Fenton two of the best in the country imo. 11jm11 (Kildare) - Posts: 367 - 13/07/2017 09:52:21 2015948 Link 1 |
The discount didn't apply to the provincial and All-Ireland finals. As far as I'm aware, the tickets issued via a season ticket have stayed the same price. I don't know about the others but I can't remember tickets costing €40 at this stage in the past.

Gavin saying a seven year barren spell from 95 - 01/02 in Leinster drives him on is hard to read. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 13/07/2017 13:19:54 2016074 Link 1 |
Surely the only time to quote a Manager is when they something interesting? Nothing to see here. He has to say something at these press conferences (am sure they are tedious from a manager's point of view).

Donal Og is right. The way managers and teams manage the media now is so boring and banal. You stick a mic in front of a 19/20-year-old and he'll come out with some of the following nuggets: We knew if would be a tough game today (after 15 - 20 point win) We are not looking beyond our next game, the provincial semi-final (I'll be disappointed if we don't win the AI) I'm just glad to be on the team this year as it's my first year (with the form I showed in the Sigerson/ Fitzgibbon for the last 2 years, it's about time I was on the team). 2016 Dub beat Laois in leinster Qf by 10 pts and bt Meath in sfinal by 11pts, 2017 Kildare beat Laois in QF by 14pts and Meath in SF by 9pts - similar form lines albeit a year apart, Laois probably gone backwards since last year, Meath supposedly have made progress, all points to a close encounter on Sunday NorthKildare (Kildare) - Posts: 197 - 14/07/2017 08:28:44 2016352 Link 0 |
In hindsight it is just as well that we didn't scrape over Westmeath last year to get to the final as our fate would have been similar to Westmeath's. A much improved Kildare team this year, with the addition of good underage players from previous years, plus the return of Daniel Flynn and Paddy Brophy, allied to the confidence that comes from winning, puts us in a better position to compete with Dublin. Irrespective of what hapens on Sunday this Kildare team is going to be around to challenge Dublin over the next several years. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 3028 - 14/07/2017 10:59:05 2016429 Link 0 |

Dublin the better side / panel . Much more experienced on the big day . Kildare have as much chance as down v monaghan or cork v tipp in munster first round. ctowers (Dublin) - Posts: 104 - 14/07/2017 22:17:18 2016711 Link 0 |
Kildare have a big day ahead of them tomorrow, the ultimate test, what they've been training hard for all year.the game they've targeted 'the game they wanted.never mind what they did against a poor meath team in tullamore thats forgotten now .whats facing them tomorrow is the greatest dublin team to have ever played the game.a team that will not stop going flat out even if their 20 points ahead, makes no difference.the most ruthless team in the land.i hope its a good close game and not a whipping as i like kildare and their fans who are among the best in the country.i hope kildare stick with whats working for them their traditional style and not revert to the blanket keep the score down crap which they cant play play anyway..best of luck kildare' GGdub (Dublin) - Posts: 260 - 15/07/2017 08:54:36 2016768 Link 1 |

Lads I'm not trying to stir anything up just an opinion that maybe Dublin have set their own bar too high in term of their team, but I have to say that isn't the strongest Dublin I've seen. Uncle_Fester (Meath) - Posts: 217 - 15/07/2017 13:20:31 2016884 Link 0 |
